The hotel was very good but located in an industrial area and this distracted from the stay.

This is an old motel. Everything about it is old. The room faces outside. We heard people talking outside all night. I had to force the door to close. The furniture is old. The staff is rude. It was bad all the way around.

I thought this was a hotel but it turned out to be a motel with a door to the outside. I don't like these type situations from a security perspective. They put us in an outside room that was close to inside but next to the ice machine and stairway leading to the second floor. Every morning starting at 6:00 AM they pushed cleaning carts outside our room. At night we had hordes of kids running down the hallway above our room. It was rated 3 star but there is no way. I'll never book a Holiday Inn or book a hotel through online travel.

Most of the fitness was old and not operational. This could be a hazard for guest. Also there were ping pong and fooze ball outside the room. Other guests were playing while we were trying to sleep. That should be away from the rooms. Also, housekeeping need to do a better job of cleaning the bathrooms.

Good location. Room is not that clean. The room was not very clean. We called for a 30 minutes late check out but the staff came and knocked on the door. When I checked in, the front desk staff did not gave me a password to log into their wireless connection and she did not mentioned anything about the free wireless until I found out in the hotel information/directory book.

The staff was friendly, but the location was in an industrial area with nothing else close by. It was at least a fifteen minute drive to any restaurant or store. If you are going for a pleasure trip, I would find a hotel in a more populated area. If you are going for business in the area, then it may satisfy your needs.

Close to interstate and families, indoor pool. Room was in back of hotel and upstair not close to stairwell. Very clean and had a very friendly staff.

Waited until the last minute to book a room after the football game. This place had many vacancies and was maybe 10 minutes from the stadium. The staff at check in was very helpful, when we got to the room it felt very wet, even the sheets were damp. Room just didn't feel "clean". Not in the best neighborhood but they did lock the back gate at dark.Horrible TV! An OK place to stay in a jam, or on a budget, just don't expect much.

The Holiday Inn Jackson was comfortable & room was very nice. Hotel location was great. We were very dissapointed with the room we had as it was in the back of the hotel where the truck drivers parked their semi's. The coolers on the trucks ran all night & could be heard inside the room & was noisey. The restaurant food was good except they were out of items on the menu every time we ordered. I ordered a cheese omlet on the menu & they were out of the cheese so I had to order something different. It was okay but not spectacular. Our dinner was very good, the steak and prime rib was prepared as we ordered it & tender. I ordered a dessert & they were out of it. The breakfast buffet was okay but every morning the weighter broke down the waffle maker before the time the buffet was to closed. We ate breakfast twice at the hotel the remainder of the stay we ate at other restaurants close by.

It was directly off of the interstate. There were so many spider webs surrounding the room door and the sheets weren't clean. When I stepped into the lobby I thought it would be a decent hotel. However, as I climbed the stairs to get to my room I had to bend down several times to avoid all the spider webs. Surrounding my room door was about three spider webs, all with spiders in them. There were even old spider webs in the corners of the room and I even killed a spider that night. The sheets on one of the bed had food on it when we pulled back the covers. The good thing about the hotel was that it was directly off the interstate and they have WiFi. I would definitely not want to stay at this hotel again.

former resident of J-ville. When we visit, this is the only place we stay! 5 minutes from the old neighborhood, 10 from the grand children, and 40 from the beach. maybe 15 from ALLTEL (GO JAGS) and ball park (go SUNS) as well as Jax Landing

Easy to enter/exit the freeway. Shady area of town right off the freeway. This hotel is located in a isolated area right of the freeway. Also the gas station down the road from the hotel is a shady truck stop with prostitutes around. Basically, the area is bad and there are no nice food establishments nearby. The hotel room itself was not obviously in poor condition, but we did have problems with the toilet flushing.

I have a 16 mth old whos is into everything and most of the time we are very paticular when we go to hotels because they are so nasty but this time I was impressed and staff was very helpful as far as directions to shopping and etc centrally located within a few miles of walmart for last min I forgots lol what can I say it happens Stay its GREAT!

I have stayed in this nice hotel twice this yr. for a total of four days. There is interstate on one side and busy road on the other-I had no rest there. Had no choice in staying-booked by my job. Have asked to not be placed in this nice but not quiet hotel

Front desk staff was excellent in appearance and professionalism. Bath drain was nasty, floor was not too great. The front desk staff was excellent in professionalism, appearance and personality.
