- sink did not have water - cigarette burn holes in comforter with large smudges of what looked like dried blood and feces - discovered dozens of red splotches on our arms and legs, which we can only assume were bed bugs - elevator broken and would only stop on select floors - baby?s diaper and washing the little boy?s behind in the pool - water line to the hotel broken and then entire hotel was without water - inserted the power plug into the wall receptacle, blue sparks began to fly

Excellent breakfast buffet. This is a good hotel on a budget. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, service spoke very little English, but we got by.

As we settling in we found the bathroom sink did not have water. We called the front desk, were passed around again, and eventually were assured a maintenance person would come up shortly to repair. Eventually a maintenance man appeared and disassembled the sink to find the calcium build up deposits were so heavy it had blocked the spouts opening. As we prepared for bed that night we noted several cigarette burn holes in the beds comforter. Becoming suspicions, we flipped over the comforter and found it was disgustingly dirty with large smudges of what looked like dried blood and feces. We slept with our clothes on from their forward. The next morning my fianc? and I woke up discovering dozens of red splotches on our arms and legs, which we can only assume were bed bugs. Heading back to the room we went to the elevator (which was broken and would only stop on select floors) and noticed maids cleaning another room. After peaking inside we noticed a large open room which looked like a magnificent suite. We soon realized that we had been jerked around and were in a standard room while indeed three were actual suites in the hotel. I called the Hotels General Manager and was informed if we wanted to move to this room we would have to pay 315/night, rather than the 260/night we were already paying. This was absurd since we were already paying for a suite, however they pretended not speak English so good when I became a bit confrontational. I wanted to check out of the hotel, however since I had booked and already paid (in full) for the room on Hotelsbycity.net, we would loose our entire 2080 + tax. Later on in our stay we met the local Mexican couple

The price and quality of the rooms. It was also very clean. The noise level at night during the weekends by other guests. This hotel was an excellent option for the price. The rooms were very clean and the service was good.

Everything is awesome about this hotel except that the location isn't right along the beach. The pictures kind of show it on the beach and it isn't. It's like a 10 minute walk to the beach.

I took my family on vacation and we had a blast at the Holiday Inn. The pool was beautiful. The rooms were clean and the staff was pleasant and friendly. The food in the Restaurant was good and the my two children told me they want to go back again to the Holiday Inn next year.

My family and I stayed here four days. We had a great time and the service was absolutely terrific. The staff was friendly and courteous. The food was good and the pool was beautiful. It is a nice place for a family or business people or single people to stay. There were also honeymooners as well. A great time was had by all.

Everything. Excellent location for the price, excellent service, though could use more English speaking personnel.

Nice pool. Maid service forgot to replace bottled water on a daily basis.

Excellent value, very comfortable andhighly recommended. Access to the beach is awkward and makes it feel further than it actually is. Access was very poorly planned. Excellent, clean. Has all of the aspects that you would expect of a 4 star facility and they take good care ofit.

Good sized, clean, comfortable bed, quiet location. Didn't bring us a coffee/filter package except the first day and there was a coffee pot in the room, but it was not available to even buy at times. It was off of the beach but only a block away. It was extremely reasonable for the large sized room and king-sized very comfortable bed we had. We liked the layout of the room, the restaurant was convenient and the concierge was helpful.

The room had a excellent view of the pool which was beautiful. The beds were hard and the floor of the room wasn't clean when we checked in. The outside grounds were awesome including the pool which was all age friendly. I didn't like the beds they were so hard I could barely sleep but the hotel was nice and quiet if the mattress were better I would rate the hotel almost perfect.

Beautifully landscaped. Friendly, helpful staff who make visitors feel at home. While this hotel is not on the beach, its many features make up for this. Beautifully landscaped grounds; clean, tastefully decorated rooms; friendly staff. My experience was wonderful. I would stay there again for sure.

It was very clean and the rooms were modern. No one spoke English. The hotel was clearly new and well maintained. The pool towels were a little old but otherwise everything was very nice. It was located right in town and accessible to shopping. Unfortunately, there wasn't a beach. The only disappointing thing was that no one spoke English.
