The room is pretty small especially the double bed room and the furniture like a carbide is old and not clean. The reception is good and the staff is familiar with guests. My opinion is that the level for this hotel is 4 stars not a five stars.

The staff was very friendly and treated me and my girlfriend with kindness. I found the prices of the hotel's non-alcoholic beverages to be too expensive. The staff at the Holiday Inn Istanbul City were very friendly. They provided me with information about the city, transportation, etc., and when they could not answer my questions, they found someone who could. The rooms were very nice, clean, and equipped (especially the bathroom-always a concern for me). I really enjoyed my stay; the hotel was beautiful.The hotel is located near small markets, bazaars and restaurants. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the shopping and cultural experience near the hotel. If I were to return to Istanbul, I would definitely return to the Holiday Inn Istanbul City. I would also take better advantage of the nearby stores, restaurants and cafe, for the prices of the food and non-alcoholic beverages at the hotel were a bit over-priced.

not a five star hotel, expensive restaurants & minibar, a little far from the historical sites and Istiklal str, Taxim. A huge pro that the tram stop is just outside the hotel.

I do not recommend this hotel?too expensive for the service you get.Free Airport Shuttle!!!!!!! Forget it!!! I actually made an advanced reservation for pick up service (from the airport), but guess what! The driver never showed up!! Their excuse..there was some kind of miscommunication. To the airport, they charge 15 euros per person. Noisy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!If you stay stay, you will notice that they do not put new tissues in the bathroom every day.Food is expensive and I did not like?.In general I think this hotel was not a good choice?..
