The hotel is not in the nicest part of town, but it located close to Texas Tech University. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall - a great stay for the price.

First I could not find this place even with my GPS. Then when I finaly did find it the smell of my room almost knocked me off my feet. No room service. No maid service. No Laundry. No massage. The water from the faucet was green. Buddy Holly would be spinning in his grave.

I travel frequently on business and I hardly write a review but I was making another reservation for this hotel and happened to read a review for this hotel that either the person stayed at a differnet hotel or they had a bad experience and made up some stuff. This hotel is newly renovated and completed. We traveled here with our daughter who is looking at Texas Tech and we stay in one room because the rooms are so large. There is a great lobby bar and the breakfast buffet was good. Our stay was enjoyable and the staff was great - good sources for Texas Tech (a lot of them attend) and my daughter found grilled them all! I am planning on staying again soon and should my duaghter choose Texas Tech - we will be staying quite frequently!

Everything was excellent EXCEPT for the pillows which were too large and hard. We requested 4 replacements but were given only one.

Location, bed was great. Pool area needs to be updated. Certain areas of the hotel are getting old and need a fresh coat of paint. Plant real plants. Plastic is tacky. Carpets need cleaning and some areas smell of mold. The room was great, clean and no smells.

This hotel is under renovation. Occupancy rate is low. Rooms are needing to be updated. Room service plates were not picked up from hall for days. Vending machines were broken on two floors before found one that worked. Back entrance door latch was broken. A/C didn't work in first room they gave me. Room door didn't latch in first room they game me. Front desk really didn't seem interested in my concerns. I won't stay here again.

Holiday Inn Lubbock, was very comfortable. Only one possible complaint - the cable was out on our last day, but was due to a storm. Hotel is very close to Texas Tech Univeristy. The hotel as a nice, but small, indoor pool and a nice, but small, hot tub.

I have stayed here multiple times and I book 12 to 24 rooms each stay. I appreciate all the staff and they are always great. Well rounded hotel and even got a facelift with new weight equipment, they are still working on the pool, but the rest of the htoel is outstanding...

Friendly staff. Room was drab. Hotel was quiet and accessible to major arteries, but rooms were uninviting and antiquated. Restaurant was very good for breakfast.

Stayed there twice this summer. Each time found it to be clean. Rooms were quiet and the beds very comfortable. Last time we stayed, they upgraded us to a King Suite with no additional charge. Very nice room. They are under a remodel, which is nice to see. It is a very quiet hotel. This hotel was a very nice surprise to find. We will definately make this our place to stay when visiting Lubbock.

The Holiday Inn on Q street was quite nice. The room service is excellent. The first time I went to Lubbock and got the King suite and it was fantastic. There were no noise complaints both ways. To summarize it all I enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn in Lubbock.

Location worked very well. Beds were uncomfortable, mattress rolled to center. Very good location, across the street from Texas Tech University. Interesting restaurants nearby.

We stayed here after looking for somthing better then we had the night before. It was a nice hotel for the money. The staff was very infomative and friendly. The bed was the best part. It was newer and very soft. The hotel is large and is built in sections, A-D. We stayed in D. There was some left over room service dishes that were left over from the night before that sat out by the door of the room next to ours. Also we requested a neck pillow and were brought one with black mold on it. I told the front desk of this when I checked out and they took * off my stay. Over all we enjoyed the rest.

The Holiday Inn-Civic Center was both easy and enjoyable. Check-in and check-out was very easy. We had a nice quiet dinner there as well. The staff we encountered were very friendly. I especially like to say that the best part was the bed! I like when the beds are clean and comfy and this hotel had that.

Very clean and staff was very friendly. The bed was not comfortable at all. Too hard and lumpy. But, a few months ago when we stayed here the bed was great. Very clean and attractive. The elevator was broken, which was a little scary because we tried to use it and it would not move. our bed was not comfortable and that makes for an unpleasant experience. Rest is top importance to me.

The HolidayInn was newly remodeled and very comfortable. The only problem we had was they did not have the station the Texas Tech Red Raiders were playing on, nor did they have Foodnetwork. We would certainly stay there again!!!
