We found the hotel at a great price compared to the other nicer hotels around it. I was let down to go into the room though and find it smelling of stale smoke since we ha dbooked a nonsmoking room. The tub was tiny. and the desk was VASTLY oversized when I sat in the office chair, and I am 6 feet tall. The desk came up to my shoulders when the chair was raised ot its highest position. Maybe for a vacation I would stay here again, but not for business.

If you are traveling on business and have a rental car, this is a great hotel for the price. All inward facing rooms that overlook an attractive dining room and waterfall. Glass elevators are also a special touch. I was disappointed in their lounge however. I went down after a long day's work to grab a bite and get a couple of beers. After looking at the menu and asking for wings I was handed a house phone where I placed my order with the dining room and then when they called, I had to walk down to the dining room, retrieve my own dinner in a styrofoam box and bring it back to the lounge! So plan on eating in the dining room or going out. Otherwise a great stay.

This is a great hotel to stay in if you are in town specifically for business, or if you intend to rent a car to drive while in town. Taxis to the mall, downtown and any familiar restaurants are expensive, as is ordering in. This hotel offers free airport shuttles, which is nice, but you'll spend at least as much getting around town in taxis as you would on a taxi to and from the airport. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and quiet, and the staff very friendly and helpful. I wish it was closer to the Battlefield mall, bookstores, restaurants, etc. because other than location, it's a great hotel! If I ever decide to rent a car on one of my trips to Springfield, I'll stay here again. The room was spacious & extremely clean. Nothing fancy like fridges or microwaves, but comfortable furnishings and extra touches like a small sofa to make guests more comfortable.

Took our grandkids to Springfield and used the hotel as our "base" while visiting the sites. One of the main reason for choosing the hotel was that it had an indoor pool. Turns out the pool was undergoing maintenance on our second day so was not available. We went to the pool on the first evening. No one was at the pool, for about 10 minutes then about a dozen 12-15 year old boys showed up and literally took over the pool. They were running, diving, splashing and playing water games (riding on a buddies shoulders and charging like mounted contestants and playing Marco Polo). There was no room left in the pool so we left the pool to wait for them to leave but a half dozen young ladies (?) showed up and the activity really picked up. We left. That same group of kids were running around inside the hotel making noise and playing hide and seek until well after 11 p.m. Thank goodness they were not around the next day but the pool was close.

The room was very nice ane cleanand the staff at the front desk was very very nice. They saw I was using a cane and asked if we would prefer a room on the first floor. I thought that was very thoughtful. The only I was unhappy about was the next morning was the cleaning lady coming around so early banging on our door to clean the room when we were not up yet, check out was not until 12 noon.

This was our first stay at this particular Holiday Inn. We were in town for a wedding. Several family members and friends were staying there and it was very conducive to large groups. It was very open and we were always able to locate each other easily. The only drawbacks being a very small gym and pool/spa area. Also, the only place to gather was the lounge/bar...which was a smoking area all-day and closed to minors at night (when the bar was open). Other than that, it was a great trip and I would stay there again when passing through Springfield, MO.

The lobby area / inside pool. Other near by hotels offered free continental breakfast. Every thing was nice, however staying 4-5 days, we would have enjoyed a small ref/microwave, or at least a free continental breakfast. We at least did have a coffee pot. We are in our mid 50's and get up early, wanting coffee and snacks or Breakfast, also in the evening, without going out.

Very pleasant staff. Checked on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed and to make sure we were served promptly. They even served us breakfast 10mins before closing on Sun morning before we left. They were doing quite a bit of construction, but we weren't inconvienced any.

Very comfortable bed, linens, pillows, expansive room, not cramped. No drawbacks. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Although it's in a moderate town and off the interstate, it was really a wonderful little place. I felt like I was in my own little oasis.

This was by far the best Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at. The staff was extremely friendly! They even called me in room to ask if I was satisfied with everything. Just Amazing! It was also the most beautiful Holiday Inn I ever saw. It was very impressive. The room was very large with a couch, table, desk and plenty of lighting. It also had an iron and ironing board, hair dryer in the bathroom, plenty of towels and very clean. Also had a coffee maker with cups, glasses and ice bucket. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Excellent location, super clean, professional staff and great hotel aesthetic. Pillows werenot incredibly comfortable. Clean rooms, courteous staff, and the dining atrium are absolutely stunning. My only problem with the hotel was the pillows. Bring your own pillow.

The room was very comfortable and the price was very low. I can't think of anything. I am already looking forward to staying at this hotel next time I travel to the Springfield area. The hotel was comfortable and clean, a great price for a good night's sleep. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
