when i arrived, the a/c in the room was cranked down to 60 degrees. the only reason i could come up with was they were trying to mask the slight smoking smell from a recent remodel. not sure it worked.

Our room exceeded all expectations. Very comfy, clean and tasteful. Small lobby was crowded at check-in, but it was probably just a busy day. Our room was perfect! I've paid much more for the exact same room at other hotels. Very tastefully decorated, possibly recently renovated. Clean and comfortable.

The overall inside appearance of the hotel was not up to standards. The hotel rooms, room doors, hallways wall, etc. needs to be painted. The upstairs lobby area needed to be dusted and the artificial plants needs to be replace. The furniture was stained. The hallway carpet was dirty smelled. The spa was not working properly. All was bad... The beds were very comfortable.

The main advantage to this hotel was its convienant location. Central LA. does not offer many choices for lodging so it was nice to find a modern, clean, professioal hotel. Although we were very busy (read Racetrack and Casinos)I mean... family, the hotel was one of the better Holiday Inns I have stayed at.

The cleanliness and the location to other areas. The resteraunt was very small. This hotel was very nice, clean and the staff was great. It is perfect for business travlers, couples and eventhose with chldren. It has an indoor pool wich is great for children. I would highly recommend it to anyone, the only downfall is the small resturaunt but it does have room service and a great breakfast for adults and a kid friendly menu.

The Holiday Inn & Suites in Opelousas, La. was very nice. Was pleased with the size of the room and its decor. Really liked the pool inside the hotel. Check in was very fast and the area was very well decorated. Also the location of the hotel was right off the Interstate and very easy to drive to. We had 4 women in one room and was very comfortable for the amuont of time we spent in the room.. When we called for extra towels and coffee they were very quick to getting our supplies. I would stay there again.

Indoor pool and hot tub. The pool was hotter than hot tub and the pool was Luke warm. The desk clerk was nice but the night manager was unable to help with hot tub when asked about satisfaction gar. She gave me a survey sheet that offered a ten dollar rebate at ck .out I turned it in at ck. Out with no response my wife had to go back in and ask for ten dollars heated pool and hot tub was reason for this stay there were other hotels for less.

The hotel itself was fine, it wasn't quiet enough to sleep, children running one floor above us.
