Basically, this is a nice but overpriced hotel. Very attractive interior, with an open area above the lobby. Lake City is a large hotel/restaurant stopping point, as it is near the intersection of two inerstates (I-10 and I-75), and is close enough to serve as extra hotel space for two large college towns, Gainesville (University of Florida) and Tallahassee (Florida State University) for game and special weekends, like opening days, graduations, etc.If you are planning on stopping in Lake City and it is not a football, graduation, or opening day of one of these universities, check other hotels in the area fiirst. We wanted a reservation, as we knew we were arriving late, but could have picked up a room in another nearby hotel for half the price. Maybe not as nice, but still new and clean, I am sure.

Hotel was fresh and newly renovated. Only real complaint is that I got no maid service on day 2. When I asked the front desk for towels, the first answer was "we don't have any clean towels". I persisted and towels did arrive eventually. There was no breakfast buffet on the weekend and service seemed slow for menu dining...went elsewhere. Fitness room could use an expensive set of weights, only has cardio equipment. Hot tub was clean and hot but jets were anemic.

The Holiday Inn in Lake City Florida was not worth the money we spent. The room was dirty, and the furniture was not in good shape. We thought the breakfast was included in the very expensive price...it was $9.00 a person and the beverages were extra!! The pool area was not clean and had dirty pool towels everywhere. This place was a rip off!!

Convienent location for easy on and off. Easy to see from the interstate. The Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites has a very easy off and on location, friendly staff and very comfortable room. Extremely comfortable, I'd recommend this Hotel to my friends and family.

Don't stay at this hotel. Especially for a function. It was the most disappointing time I ever had at a hotel. It totally ruined my groups' meeting.

We were needing a stop-over on our way to Disney World and this was a perfect place. Having Ruby Tuesday next door was perfect as it was pouring rain and we didn't have to get wet! Very nice inside!

I used Priceline to bid my own price and thought that the accepted price was a fair price for the hotel. I will try this again next time. I did not like the fact that there was a charge for a baby crib to be placed in the room. In all other hotels that we've stayed at, this was free. This was just a quick stop for us. Traveling from State to State, this makes a great quick stop.

Friendly, knowledgeable, clean and quiet. The rooms were large and all located inside. I felt very safe and no noise problem. Everyone was friendly and helpful. It was a good a experience.

Great location with access to restaurants and gas stations. Kids were running wild and unattended and the staff did not rectify the situation. The hotel was nice and clean, great for a short stay.

New hotel. Easy access. Indoor pool. Clean. Indoor pool was too cold. Not heated at all. Stayed with wife and baby. Enjoyed the stay. Location is good and convenient to food. Lake City is still small town. Use as a stop off to other destination or if you have business in the area.

Great location, easy off/on of I-75. Nice atmosphere and spacious room. Clean, spacious, nice hotel. The rooms were quiet and well furnished. Comfortable beds and clean spacious bathroom. Lots of well lighted parking. Friendly and courteous staff. I enjoyed my stay.
