We liked the hotel and it's convenient location to the riverfront. We walked everywhere. Room was very clean and A/C was quieter than in other hotels. We would stay there again if in the area.

We went to La Crosse for a show choir competition at Viterbo. We have never been to La Crosse and it is beautiful! The hotel is in a great location in the downtown area. It was a short drive to where we were going. The rooms are very nice and clean. Beds were very comfortable. The staff was very friendly. Richelle was very helpful with directions. The pool is great for the kids and they have a huge whirlpool. We want to come back to walk around in the downtown area since we didn't have time this trip! We would certainly pick this hotel. When we were shopping online the rates were very equal but we picked this hotel since we had friends stay there before and Viterbo reccommneded them. We will be back.

I graduate from UW-L in 1997 and hadn't been back for almost 7 years. The hotel is located right downtown so it is very convenient to all the river and sights and sounds that downtown has to offer. The staff were great. Everyone was very helpful, even the restaurant staff.

This hotel is newer. No comment. Since the hotel is newer it was nice and very clean. The staff was very friendly. I would stay at this hotel again.

Overall we were pleased with our accommodations. Staff was helpful and the location was very nice. We were surprised when we were charged $3.00 for parking.

Comfortable; convenient. Suite was smaller. The hotel was very nice and very convenient for our stay in La Crosse. I would definitely stay there again.

Our room had several problems, one being on an alley where the trash picked up of the bar's bottleds at 3 AM! Desk staff moved us for our second two nights, even upgrading our accomodations. Hotel is worn, in need of updating, but comfortable. Restaurant atmosphere was bad and food mediocre, and the room service pizza was undercooked. Friendliness and helfulness of staff saved the visit.

It's location. Had to use public parking next door. The staff could have been a little more informative about the parking. Girl asked us if would require parking for our car and said the structure was next door and we needed a sticker. Later I found out this was a public parking structure and that we were charged $3.00 for the parking permit. No big deal but I was a little confused looking for the hotel parking but only saw this public one so I came to the conclusion that we were to park there.

Holiday Inn downtown was easy to get to. Located right downtown & across the street from Convention Center. Room was very comfortable with a refrigerator, two televisions, a sitting room and clean bathroom. I would recommend this to anyone. Also within walking distance to restaurants and drinking establishments. The Holiday Inn restaurant had a good variety of meals or sandwiches.

The facilities. The bed. The hotel was nicely located, clean, friendly staff. However, the bed was not good. It was a Murphy bed. Not overly comfortable and not what I expected of a 3 1/2 star hotel. Other than that, everything was good.

The Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites in LaCrosse, Wisconsin is the perfect hotel for one that wants to be in the middle of where all the action is and to be in walking distance to the river and the historic downtown. Actually, it is in the the historic downtown. The hotel is pretty new and very clean. The rooms are just your everyday nice average room in a nice hotel. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked great, the room was clean, there was an overabundance of towels, and even a small refrigerator. I can't complain. We ordered room service and the food from their restaurant was great and on time. Even though this is one of the more expensive hotels in LaCrosse, it is still in the reasonable range when you consider quality and location. I love it here and I will always stay here whenever I am in LaCrosse, which is about 1-2 times a year.

The hotel was great, located right downtown LaCrosse, can walk everywhere. This hotel is within walking distance to all the Oktoberfest festivities. Parking was convenient. The staff was great. The breakfast menu was ok not quite what I was looking for. The food was good though. I can't wait to go back next year.

It was handy too the area we wanted too visits, and dines at! For a non-smoking room, could smell smoke in the bath room from previous guests! It was okay?

Nice rooms, clean - kid friendly pool. Cost seemed a bit high for a small room in Lacrosse, WI- $145 Nice enough hotel but the staff needed training. It's what differentiates a good hotel from a great hotel. Examples: Enjoyed a tasty meal at the bar, but the bartender spent most of their time on a cell phone chatting loudly with friends. Only one clerk (who was slow) at the check-in desk. Took at least 20 minutes to check in and they sent us to the wrong room. Had to come back down and get rechecked.
