Date of Stay:

The coffee maker did not work, the remote control did not work. And the food was over priced. Lucky for me I was only there for two nights.

The location is ideal. Could put a mini fridge in the rooms. The hotel is clean and the staff is very polite and helpful.

July, 2008
Bad room service, bad service, over all waste of money to stay here.
Date of Stay:
February, 2009
Fast service, reasonable restaurant. Microwave and fridge service. Coffee was not fully restocked, toiletry items replaced one item or none at all. If I had use of a microwave and small fridge I believe I would have enjoyed my stay a lot better. I enjoyed the comfortable bed and pillow.

Good room for the value - but the front desk was not as helpful as the could be on a very simple request - I have silverware in my hotel room and when it was cleaned the silverware was not returned so when I called down about the silverware they asked me why I wanted it - instead of just making sure I have the silverware - so I had to go and get it instead of them delivering it to me

It was friendly accomidating and worked well for me. The food was horrible I tried it twice and it was so bad i have never eaten such terrible food The hotel was great everyone from the desk clerk to the dining staff to the maid service. I would stay here again. On the bad side was I had to pay an additional $130 for 2 week parking till I arrived and would not recommend the food in the dining room I have never ever had such horrible food , stay far away from the balsalmic chicken or chief salad. I have eaten at hundreds of places and this is the worst. So if you want to stay there make sure you eat elsewhere.

"This hotel is very conveniently located in the heart of the city of Winnipeg, the nearby amenities make it a very rewarding stay for any traveler."
Date of Stay:

Convenient location. Room smelled of smoke although listed as non-smoking. Had to get room change. Staff cooperative. Convenient downtown location. Clean facility, professional staff.

Great location. View of the bus station and parking lot. Very nice with everything we needed close by.

Bed size, hot tub and location. No fridge in room. We waited 30 minutes for 2 orders of toast. Hotel staff was friendly and effective, pool was too cold to enjoy hot tub way hot to enjoy. No fridges in rooms.

Clean, nicerooms andcomfortable beds. Location was terrible, noisy busy street, ambulances, fire trucks were awful and dingy pool area was not attractive. great rooms just move it away from the bus depot and Portage Ave traffic. Lots of street noise but not hotels fault. Staff was great. Beds and rooms very modern and clean.

Perfect location, clean and friendly. Color of my bed cover. Very comfortable, large rooms, good location and spacious in the public areas, lobby restaurant. Thank you for the stay.

Price. Staff had problems with the English language, rooms felt old and a little dirty.

Large bed and bathroom. The parking lot, difficult to get to if you passed it. Good, had to drive around the block to get to the parking lot after checking in. it took a little longer to check in than normal (only one person in front of me).
Date of Stay:
October, 2008
The rooms were rather old and not renovated. There is carpet which makes the rooms dusty.
Date of Stay:
August, 2008
Convenience to most sights. Bus depot next door. With the patrol did not have any problems, staff was very helpful in directions.
Date of Stay:
July, 2008
Location. Small rooms and dated. As a experienced business traveler I have stayed in some very nice Holiday Inns and this one is only just adequate. It's locations what saved the day.
Date of Stay:
July, 2008
I didn't like it! The noise, the facilities, location, safety, didn't accommodate to us having an infant. Our hotel experience was horrible, expired permits, noise and lack of customer relations! They put us in a loud room, we heard sirens all night and that woke up our baby, which in any case we got no sleep and she was cranky all day.
Date of Stay:
July, 2008
The customer service was excellent, the room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud.
Date of Stay:
May, 2008
No mini bar, vagrants around hotel. Old bathrooms, noisy and no restaurants were nearby except diner style hotel restaurant.
