I liked the indoor-outdoor pool, just wish it was larger. Next door is a great barbeque/bluegrass family restaurant. Not a lot of nice scenery out the windows.

Great location for our purposes. Large, newer suite on top floor with great views. Very nice, shaded outdoor restaurant patio. Swimming pool & deck extremely small, but indoor/outdoor feature was nice. We were very pleased to have a top floor, corner suite with king bed, kitchenette and beautiful mountain views from two different sides. Appreciated the non-smoking status of the whole hotel, although the desk staff who were smokers would stand just outside the front entryway and smoke. Any guests were forced to walk through a veil of smoke to get inside. Manager should provide a smoking section for staff elsewhere on the property. Far away from guests. Swimming pool was micro-sized, not conducive to family, but the indoor/outdoor feature was nice. No real place to sit or lay in the sun, as the deck only had one small table. Restaurant was very nice with breakfast buffet or menu orders. Cool, shaded outdoor dining patio was a plus, but a little close to the highway. Cars could not be seen, but could be heard, although not a real nuisance to us. All in all, we were extremely pleased with our accommodations for the fabulous price we got.

First time in Asheville; location was a little questionable looking (surrounding restaurants included a Cracker Barrel and a Dairy Queen) and there is a sketchy looking "motel" directly facing the pool of the Holiday Inn. Was also a little put off when told by the bartender that I had to take my glass of wine to my room and that I couldn't "walk around the hotel with it." Uh, okay...because of the high end clientele? Whatever.

My husband and I were looking for an affordable place to stay downtown Asheville.....there was nothing that we considered affordable. This hotel was VERY close to downtown and was an excellent value. The room was very comfortable, large, and well-kept. Maid service was great. Room was quiet and restful at all times. Many restaurants in walking distance with a nice grocery store across the street with a Starbucks in it. We did not eat at any of the establishments but there were plenty. We did use the grocery store. Downtown Asheville is about a mile away, not a bad walk in nice weather...there are sidewalks going through the tunnel to downtown so it is a safe walk. We will definitely stay here again!

Saltwater chlorine in pool is fantastic alternative. Plus fish! We have stayed at this hotel 5 times through Priceline and every time it has been great. Fish for rent, a good pool, and nice rooms. Good shower, etc. All around a very positive experience every time.

Stayed during a visit to Asheville. My husband and I travel there 2-3 times a year just to visit the downtown area. Very convenient location. This hotel was much less expensive than other hotel in the area with similar amenities. I would definitely stay there again.

Very comfortable bed, clean bathroom, very friendly staff. We enjoyed our stay. There was nothing to dislike. Beautiful, good parking, not easy to see the exit but a very good resting place and good food in the restaurant.

Great hotel. A quick drive to downtown or Biltmore Village. Several family friendly restaurants within walking distance, which was very nice. The staff was very nice, the room was large and very clean, and overall it was well worth the price. We would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable, convenient, fairly priced. Poor visual directions to hotel from local highway. Small name on hotel building. Adding to above it was easy to travel around the town. People at front desk provided maps and easy directions. Several restaurants within walking distance.

Newly remodeled Holiday Inn with very pleasant decor, spacious suite with king size bed, attractive decor. Fitness room adequate. Great location; just a tunnel away from downtown Asheville and right next to the Dairy Queen!

The Holiday Inn & Suites in Asheville, NC was very comfortable. It was only a few miles from downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The accommodations were exceptional and was in walking distance to several popular restaurants. The room itself was large with a desk area, flat screen tv, and a lovely view. The pool was extremely chilly! Otherwise, a very pleasant stay.

Great location in downtown Asheville. Need a visible sign to entrance of hotel. Hotel staff was very pleasant and courteous. Rooms were very comfortable with Wall mounted flat screen TV's. Would highly recommend.

the holiday inn was a very clean place to stay, the room & bath room were very clean,the hotel even smelled clean,my only complant would be it was next to a vey run down hotel that had a lot of tenants that sat out on their balconies & you couldn't open your curtains because they could see you,i also think people would enjoy the hotel better if they had a better restaurant with good food & a breakfast buffet,most hotels that charge this amount either have continental breakfast or a breakfast buffet,if they did this it would be awesome.

Very clean, well maintained and very helpful staff. It is very close to a motel that looks pretty run down. Very nice, new looking hotel with very helpful and friendly staff. Nice pool and hot tub area. Had two meals with the restaurant and enjoyed both.

I say great location because it was so close to downtown. You really can't stay downtown Asheville unless you're willing to spend a lot of money. Hotel was very reasonable and comfortable.
