My husband and I needed an extended weekend getaway and we are so glad that we chose this hotel. When comparing the prices to the other hotels and resorts in the area, we realized that we got a lot for the buck. We were not expecting a Holdiay Inn to be this well kept. It also employs very friendly staff. The main restaurant did not have the best food but there are several cafes and restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. The description of the hotel on the internet states that it is not on the beach but it is literrlay a 3-5 minute walk. The view from our room was incredible.

Hotel was very nice. Hotel was nice but, staff embarrassed me in front of other guest at pool. I will never stay at that hotel again!

This hotel is a good choice for a beach stay - if you don't actually want any beach. The hotel has a seawall behind it that meets the water. But the pool area is large and there are plenty of lounge chairs that face the water. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bed could have been better. The staff was very friendly and greeted me each time I walked through the lobby. There is a very nice bar that opens out to a deck by the gulf. The fitness center is well-equipped.

When I was planning my trip, I relied heavily on these reviews to help me make my decision. I just have to say that this hotel is on the level of a 4 star. It is so beautiful, neat, clean, well kept, and high end. The ammenities are great. The weight room is just enough. The house keeping was prompt. It was a very short walk to the public beach and the ocean water is at your footsteps at the pool. The pool/ocean area is a sight to see. We spotted dolphins and the sunsets are unbelievable. I was so impressed with everything!!!!! I would definitely stay again and I highly recommend it. Pay the extra money and stay here! We didn't try to the hotel restaurants because of the bad reviews, but we ate at Shells and Frenchy's and really enjoyed both.

I had the love of my love from 23 years ago come to Florida to visit me and asked me to find us a nice place on the beach. I chose theis place and I could not have made a better choice he told me. In their ad it says something about free sunsets and dolphin sightings. The moment we got there and stepped out on our balcony we started seeing the dolphins. That was just the beginning of the romance and the love we shared so long ago. He has now decided to go back home, sell his house, and move to florida as we plan our future together FINALLY!!! This hotel was the perfect place to help put all the pieces together for this incredible weekend that changed both of out lives forever!Thank you.

I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. It is very nicely located on the water. Although it has no beach, there are plenty of deck chairs around the pool and the restaurant has a great deck for dining al fresco. My room was spacious with two queen beds, large bathroom and a balcony. The room was spotlessly cleaned by the housekeeping staff every day. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I was there to attend a wedding on the other end of the beach, beyond a traffic circle that was closed during a triatholon. They suggested an alternate route through the area and suggested leaving earlier than we had intended. No problem getting to the wedding with these suggestions! There is a convienent courtesy computer with printer in the hotel lobby for flight check in and printing boarding passes. A hair and nail salon is right in the hotel where I had manicure and pedicure at standard mani-pedi rates. My room had a microwave and small refridgerator, which saved me money on snacks and meals. I was very pleased and would stay at this hotel again. The only negative was an unexpected daily charge for parking of $.

We actually had booked to stay at another Hotel in town and were very disappointed with the accomodations. We stopped at the Holiday Inn and talked to Liz at the front desk and she was wonderful.....she gave us some guidance, however remained very proffessional. We checked out of our scheduled Hotel and moved to the Holiday Inn. Our stay at the Holiday Inn was exceptional! All of the staff from the front desk to room service to the pool and bar area were wonderful. Our room was very modern and clean. I would stay at the Holiday Inn again and would recommend this Hotel to friends.

We loved our trip to Clearwater Beach Holiday Inn. We paid for a standard room but were pleastantly suprised when we were upgraded to a suite. (which was good since we weren't facing the water) Location of the hotel was great and near lots of action but still low key.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful, greeting us warmly every time we encountered them. I prefer a swimming pool which is set up so that one can do lengths. The hotel was centrally located, the staff was friendly, the room was well-equipped and spotless clean. There was, however, a ten dollar a day charge for parking.

This hotel was simply the best. We were impressed by the cleanliness and spatiousness of the room, and the grounds were very beautiful. The staff were very friendly and when out of their way to make us feel at home. There isnt much of a beach in front of the hotel, but a five minute walk and you are on Clearwater Beach. The waterfront view is simply fantastic and the hotel is right in the middle of it all!

Stayed here for a week's vacation 1st week July '08. We had a room with a view of the Gulf and it was a great. I was a priority club member so I got an upgrade room where there are actually two rooms connected together with separate entrances. At night, they have a live singer and music on the weekends (which could be an issue if you are an early sleeper, but by 11PM they wrap it up). The rooms were clean and beds confortable. There is a drugstore within walking distance and the main beach jis ust 5 minutes up the road. You can also walk on the hotel's beach, but the tide comes in and there is no beach until it goes out versus the public beach within the 5 minute walk. The place has gone through recent renovation and so everything is up to date. The pool was clean and people were definitely enjoying their stay. We did not get much in the way of any specials being a priority club member beyond the room upgrade and a few drink tickets which is typically for most of the ichotels. Unfortunately, the drink tickets don't cover the full price of most drinks at the restaurant in the hotel. The other bummer is you have to pay * / day to park in the hotel's parking lot which is really sad. After a while it became obvious why. All of these hotels along the beach guard their parking lots like treasure chests and on the weekend charge up to * for beach goers who are not staying at the hotel to park in their parking lot since parking at the public beach (5 mins up the road) is over crowded on weekends. Even so, defintely would stay again.

The hotel is not on the beach as I expected it would be. It was a 1 block walk to the beach. The hotel is located on breakers instead. The room was clean and comfortable and while it was right above the entrance of the hotel on the third floor, I was concerned about a noise fctor. However, the air condition fan provided a rather pleasant white noise. The hotel was full but I found it quiet in our room area. The ice cream shop was a tease because of the short hours it was open.

KIt was our honeymoon site 35 years ago. $10 a night parking. Recent renovations make it a site I would recommend to others for a vacation location.

Stayed in a spacious gulf front room and had the time of my life! A live band was playing reggae music all day outside below the balcony which really set the mood for relaxation. The balcony feels private and has a wonderful view. Room service was fast and the food is some of the best I've tasted. Visited the bar near the pool and the atmosphere was great. No complaints whatsoever, it was perfect!

we stayed for a family vacation and it was perfect. the hotel was extremely clean, staff is very friendly, our rooms were huge with gorgeous bathrooms. ocean view is the only way to go as we saw dolphins and a manatee from our balcony. the pool was kept up immaculately with generous drinks from tiki the bar. jimmy fish house restaurant was well priced and very good but the breakfast buffet is better at shepards. i will definitely stay here again!
