If you want to be in the city with all the happenings at you fingertips this may not be the spot for you. However, this hotel was still very convenient! I was able to get to all of the fun activities in the city within 5 minutes and saved a bundle of money over the cost of staying downtown. The hotel was clean and the staff was nice. The property is situated of the highway enough that it was very quite at night. It was very hot while I was in Pittsburgh so making use of the pool was important to me. The pool is located in an solarium with a opening roof. The water was overly chlorinated but was still acceptable. I guess you have to expect that in a hotel pool. I would stay at this hotel again.

Nothing. Horrible hotel, no food in it, very dark and dingy. Needs remodeled.

Apparently the restaurant burned down a month and a half ago. There was never any mention of this on Travelocity. I really, really wanted to stay at a hotel with a restaurant. I tried to get the online travel website to let me move to another hotel, but they informed me that my credit card would be charged even if I didn't stay there. Nice. I once had to cancel a hotel reservation on short notice that I had booked on an online travel website. It was no problem at all. Guess who I'll be using next trip?

The hotel was average, except in dining options which were limited, but the drawback which affected me most was the lack of transportation to and from the airport.

The pool was very nice. The food was also very good. The lack of cleanliness in our rooms. Bathrooms were filthy & smelled like mold and we found hair clip/buttons on the floor as if it hadn't been swept. The hotel overall was not bad. The rooms were not very clean and the bathroom had a mold smell to it. We found a hair clip on the bed and things on the floor as if it had not been swept.

Good: Great bed, great water pressure, fairly quick Internet response Bad: Sheer curtains on first floor with no heavy curtains to close so that folks can;t look in? Not a good idea. Ugly: This Holiday Inn has a lot of wedding parties. I've been here before and have returned due to the low price. This was our final visit. At night, expect loud noise, running in the halls and screaming. If you want an undisturbed night of sleep, this is not the place to stay. The pace has security doors requiring you to use your room key to enter. A good thing, right? Well, if the security door is disarmed it gets a little uncomfortable if you walk the halls to get ice. Everyone and his uncle has easy access to the motel and if there happen to be quite a few drunk wedding party guests....have fun negotiating your way back to the room. I booked online and when I woke up in the morning, there was a bill slipped under my door. There was a charge to my charge card for the room..at a lower rate It took a while at the front desk to clear this up. I would not go back here again.

Close to exit/easily accessible. Dirty, scum in the toilet and hairs throughout the shower, on toilet and on the sink. Would not recommend.

I stayed at this hotel when I couldn't get a room close to UPitt/Carnegie Mellon. Mapwise, it is only approx. 5 miles from the universities...but it takes at least 15-20 minutes to drive there depending on traffic/time of day. It is right off Rt. 28 in a business park area and is close to Waterworks shopping center. The hotel was okay and a good value for the money...compared to the prices of the hotels in the university/downtown area. Staff was friendly and pleasant upon check-in. There were several wedding parties booked at the hotel, so we were given a room in the back. Although it was quiet, the room could have used a bit of updating...maybe the wedding parties got the newer rooms? The bed was a bit hard and pillows weren't great (no heavenly bed here) and there were barely enough towels for two... But, it was clean! Although we didn't use it, the indoor pool area looked really nice. I'm sure my kids would have enjoyed spending some time there. Parking is free and plentiful.

Everyone was very friendly. We asked for an extra towel and never received it. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The food and staff at the restaurant were great. We only stayed one night but I would recommend it to anyone.

The atmosphere was conducive to comfort. Not enough equipment in work out room. I enjoyed my stay there; everyone did their best to make me feel comfortable.

Friendly, helpful staff. Balcony, outside access, they had some-I'll ask for one next time. Overall, the hotel outside & inside was visually pleasing. The staff was excellent.

Quiet nights sleep. No elevators available, unfriendly bar tender. Not to bad of a place to stay if you are looking for a quiet nights rest.

Convenient location to the business I was going to. Rather far from downtown and places to see. Overall one of the better holiday inns I have stayed at. The hotel amenities are good and the restraints food was very good.
