Location was great and good accessibility. The pool was closed and out of order. Hotel was good except indoor/outdoor pool was out of order. Basic, clean and reasonably updated.

Excellent, helpful staff. Pool closed due to remodeling. A nice older hotel on a beautiful gold course (and I don´t even like golf!) The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Try to get a room and the golf course side for the view. The other side faces the interstate and is a little noisy.

Nice view of golfers and cows. The hotel was along the freeway, a few miles from civilization. Our room faced away from the freeway toward the golf course, cow farms and distant mountains. The hotel was nearly empty when we stayed there - Memorial Day weekend. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. I had trouble getting a reliable wireless connection and wish I had brought an Ethernet cable.

Pet room had very convenient access to outside. The pool was out of service. Nice hotel in a great location. It had all of the amenities that we needed.

The room was a pretty big and the beds were nice. The pool was closed for repairs.

Front desk clerk offered to pay for dinner when hotel had nothing to offer my granddaughter (not even reciprocity at neighboring hotel pools). The place appears to be more a motel than hotel - one would expect a valet to help with bags, the decor to be less dingy, the pool and grounds to be well maintained.

The lady at check-in was very nice. Pool was broken and room hadno hot water. Staff was very accommodating. Advertised an indoor pool but was out of order. The room had absolutely no hot water and staff did nothing to correct - acted like it was a common occurrence. Go up the street!

All the staffs were friendly, and the hotel was very clean. The pool was not clean and it had been 5 days since the chemicals had been checked, I found this out after my kids swam in it. Very nice staff and accommodating. We wanted adjoining rooms and that was given to us with no problem. Everything (except the pool) was spotless, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the hallway was very quiet.

I wanted to check in at 2am but was scheduled to check-in after 2 pm and check out the next day. Almost a major problem.

Pool was less than par - outdoor section closed and dirty. For the price it was fine although disappointed with the pool. Desk staff did not know what the pool hours were. Room was clean and comfortable.

Fun bar band, free cover for guests. Only a single computer for guest use in lobby. Good ease to the highway, and hotel staff accommodated request to move to a room that was away from the high way noise. One side of the hotel faces the interstate, which creates quite a bit of noise. The other side of the hotel has beautiful views of a golf course. Completely different experiences, depending on what side of the hotel you're staying in!

Room was very clean and looked recently renovated. Clean and conveniently located.

Holiday is a very reasonable motel all around. Perfectly fine and comfortable for a weekend stay in Staunton and the Blackfriars.

Desk clerk was extremely helpful. Nothing. This hotel exceeded our expectations and we would certainly stay there again.

Room appearance and work space was fine. Stunk of beer, TV didn't work, zero hot water! They had a full house, not unusual since it is a conference center. No chance to change rooms and I was checking in at 11PM. Got up at 6:30 to shower, ran water at full hot for 15 minutes with not even 80 degrees showing up. I called the desk and was told "Oh, we have a full house". No apology. Left as fast as I could. Not to return, in spite of the nice golf course they have which I'd love to play.

The bed was comfortable. The desk set up was awkward and decor a bit dated. The staff was professional but not warm, and the corridors were noisy. I found some trash under the bed when I dropped some change, and was a little surprised to see that. Otherwise fine experience.

Location, friendliness of registration staff. Food service in restaurantwaitress ignored us most of the time we were there. Although the accommodations were fine, the service in the hotel restaurant was well below par. We were in the restaurant for over 1-1/2 hours, ordering minimal breakfast food. We only got our check after threatening to walk outour waitress never came back after we got our food. We had another person join us at our table - we had to get silverware and a glass from another table. We had to order this person's meal via the hostess. There were only three other parties in the restaurant that morning and the waitress went to their tables numerous times. Because of this experience, I will probably not use this facility again, although we have family members who have stayed there on numerous occasions.

Hotel staff was very nice and really friendly. Bed was comfortable. Room was really clean. Not a bad place by any means. This place was ok. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was really clean, and the bed was comfortable. This is a no frills hotel, for just an average traveler. If you're trying to impress someone, this isn’t the place, but if you need a comfortable, quiet place to rest your head stays here.

Location to Staunton, good in room coffee, shower area good. No continental breakfast, bathroom had not rack to hang or store towels. Staff was very pleasant. The first room they showed me overlooked the outside AC units. The staff gave me another room. Was not aware dogs were allowed until I heard them barking in the hall early in the am.

Itwas better than expected (clean and friendly staff).
