it was very nice and clean just the esturant and bar closed really early.

Free WIFI. Gave us a smoking room but did change it. Hotel was fine for what we needed. We had a room facing the parking lot and it was a little noisy.

Hotel was very clean, and room looked recently refurbished with very nice amenities. Everything worked in the rooms, bathroom was updated, and bed was comfortable. Conveniently right off the 101 freeway and only a few miles down the road from Santa Barbara. Stayed here after a day of wine tasting around Los Olivos area, and it was just much more reasonably priced and cleaner than what I have found right in Santa Barbara in the past.

We had a great time, the room was neat and clean. The a/c worked great and the bathroom was very clean. The swimming pool was great and we enjoyed sitting around the pool. Restaurants and grocery stores were very convenient, and when you need gas for your car there is one right across the street.

A good hotel ten minutes outside Santa Barbara in Goleta. It has a nice pool and very comfortable beds. The walls were a little thin however.

Nice big pool. No hot tub. Hotel a little old. No fridge in room.

Very convenient to the Airport. Very comfortable and inexpensive at the Holyday Inn at Santa Barbara, CA.

If you are visiting UCSB, this is literally 5 minutes from campus. The location is also very convenient to downtown and to the 101. I had a wonderful experience with the staff. All were friendly and professional. My hotel room was very nice. Apparently the hotel just did an upgrade with renovation to all the rooms and everything was clean and new. The room was comfortable with free wireless Internet and up to date decor. Their restaurant is pretty good too and room service was certainly appreciated. I?ll definitely stay here again.

The hotel was nicely remodeled and in a great location. The room service was closed at 8:30 pm; too early for me to order a late dinner. There was hair on the bathroom floor left from the previous guest.

Had all amenities as promised. Nice landscaping. Area between pool & lobby looked abandoned. Saw the same dirty dishes the whole time we were there. Convenient to the airport and UCSB. Well landscaped. Pool needs maintenance. Lobby is drab. Courteous staff.

The Holiday Inn in Goleta was very clean and comfortable. It's close to the UC Santa Barbara campus (about 15 mins), but walking distance to restaurants and other services. It is located in a nice area of town and we felt safe being there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Also, when my daughter needed first aid for a blister on her foot, they gave her all the first aid stuff she needed (including an antiseptic to spray on it).

Great overnight stay. Room was great, very comfortable bed and pillows. Staff was friendly. Room was a little hot, and tricky to work with AC- a little loud. Otherwise it was great. Convinient to a shopping center just down the street with many fast food restaurants nearby, a gas station and some sit-down restaurants as well. Went on a trip to see a concert at the Santa Barbara Bowl and the Santa Barbara Mission. Hotel was just 2 or 3 exits past both. Maybe 1 mile off the freeway, in a very quite neighborhood.

My son really enjoyed their pool. The pool was heated and he was able to go in during the day and at night. They also had a nice fire pit near the pool with an open bar that served food as well. Its near the 101 fwy so we weren't to far from everything...

Convenient to Santa Barbara for a low cost. Outdoor hallways.

The hotel was well located to UCSB and other amenities (easy on & off access to the hwy 101). The staff was very helpful and friendly. The grounds were clean and well cared for. They had an outside firepit and bar which was a nice feature. The room was clean and modernized considering you could tell it was an older hotel. My biggest complaint was that I could hear the person in the next room peeing and flushing the toliet!! I would stay again but perhaps request another room.

Stayed overnight wife my wife and two children. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and very nice. It is well located near the 101 freeway and easy to find. The swimming pool is heated so the kids swam well after the sun went down. Keep this in mind if you want a little quiet time ask for a room facing away from the pool. There is a resturaunt on site but we did not eat there. There are numerous places to dine within walking distance. Denny's, Carls Jr., Outback Steakhouse, Taco Bell and a new Kona "something" (can't remember) place to name a few. There is also a sports bar/bowling alley close by if you want to have some fun. Its about a five minute drive to Goleta Beach and about a ten minute drive to Stearns Warf. I would stay there again if needed, but keep in mind that if you book through Travel website, it is non-refundable. I tried to change the weekend of my stay, but the travel agency policy for this hotel dictates that you need to cancel reservations (forfeiting booking fee) and re-book paying again.

Great location. Within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Santa Barbara within driving distance.

It was in a good location relative to Santa Barbara and CUBS. Open corridors and thin walls between rooms. The hotel was a typical motel (open corridors, thin walls, etc.)with the added amenity of an onside restaurant (that we didn't eat at). For a quick 18 hour visit, it served it's purpose.

This hotel provided such a pleasurable experience! The staff and front desk were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are extremely acceptable and decent. Personally, I think they are better than average. The room we stayed in was very clean, functional, and appeared to be recently renovated. For anyone who is traveling to downtown Santa Barbara, the Bowl, or the Mission, this hotel is a very convenient location. You can arrive to downtown via freeway in about 5 minutes. There are many nearby restaurants to the hotel including a Denny's and other fast food eateries. There are also nearby stores and shops. The hotel provides comfort, all the basic amenities any traveler needs, and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed overnight with my wife and two children (ages 9 & 12). Checking in was quick and easy. The room was comfortable, clean and modernized. Good enough for a weekend stay. I did not see any security on the grounds, but I don't think there was a need. The location is in a nice little community and we felt relatively safe walking around the town. The pool is heated and although the air temp was in the low sixties the kids swam until 9:00pm. The pool closes at 10:00pm so if you are looking for some quiet time request a room facing away from the pool as the sounds of laughter and splashing seemed to echo through the inner complex. There is a resturaunt on site, but we did not eat there. There are numerous places to eat within walking distance. From fast food to casual dining. Goleta Beach is about a five minute drive and Santa Barbara's Stearns Warf is about a ten minute drive. I would stay again.
