We were there for graduation so location was great. We did have car this time so not sure where metro stop was but walking distance to restaurants and shops. They did have nice enough restuarant & club in hotel. Although I didn't use this service they did have a shuttle to area shops and attractions.

For DC, good value. Has convenient bus stop next door on route to Union Station through Georgetown (about 30 minutes). Really on the very fringe of Georgetown.

We were looking for a hotel close to the Georgetown University campus. This hotel was very close. We were not disappointed. Our room was well appointed and clean. Our bed was very comforable. Check-in was quick and the staff was helpful and friendly. Best of all, we were within walking distance of some great shops, dining and we could have even walked to the Georgetown University campus, if we wanted. We did pay to park, but most of the other hotels I checked also charged for parking, We would definitely stay there again.

Overall the hotel was nice. The staff were very courteous and helpful, especially the bellman who helped us with transportation. The restaurant was surprisingly good and a 20 off breakfast coupon was included with our room charge. We were disappointed at how far away all transportation except city buses were-the metro train is not near here at all. We were not in the heart of Georgetown and thus were a long walk from most of the restaurants and shops. There is a free hotel shuttle but it was not able to go where we needed to go. We ended up taking several cab rides or we walked about 3/4 mile to and from the double decker tour bus. There was a grocery store nearby which was very handy.

We booked 2 double bed non-smoking room. They didn't have any left...we we told it was because we booked on the internet. We ended up in a smoking room. We survived...better than not having a room at all.

Convenient, and quite nice for our purposes. Had to pay extra for parking.

This hotel looks clean but it has bed bugs! We were bitten overnight, on body, legs, even eyelid and lips. We complained and were offered a future free night's stay instead of a refund. We will not be staying there again! It was our worst travel experience ever.

We found the Holiday Inn Washinton-Georgetown a great place to stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great. We will stay there again if in Washington.

Very easy to check in. Staff was friendly. Bathroom wasvery clean. Parking cost. Room wasfairly small. Nice hotel in historic Georgetown. The staff was friendly and efficient. The room was fairly small with a king size bed, a sofa bed, armoire with TV and a small desk and chair. When we opened up the sofa bed, you couldn't get by the desk. Bathroom was very clean. Parking fee of $20 per day was a bit much, though.

The room was very clean and comfortable. For the price, I was expecting to be disappointed, but I was pleasantly surprised. The best part about this hotel was the location.

Room was very nice and clean, no noise problems. My only complaint was that the elevator smelled like sweat-socks.

The Georgetown Holiday Inn was a pleasent place to stay, with several good amenities, including an outdoor pool. The rooms could use in-room refrigerators and in-room wifi, though there is a hard-wire connection if you happen to carry the correct cable. The hotel is a little off the beaten path but provides a shuttle to the nearest Metro station and fairly easy access to DC.

The hotel staff is very pleasant. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I have stayed here at least a half doxen times and I have had a good stay each and every time.

Proximity to Georgetown. No nearby Metro access.

The hotel is far from the subway, but using the free shuttle and the bus across the street I had no problem getting around. Website mentioned a fridge and microwave in each room which was nowhere to be found. Parking very expensive - should be free or very discounted for guests. Room was very clean and services excellent.

I had a rough time at the airport because they lost my luggage and when I arrived at the hotel, I had a late check in, the consierge were very helpful. It was very pleasant to stay at this hotel. I have no complaints.

The was spacious and I was able to use it to meet with a client. Nothing. I liked the hotel and would definitely consider using it again.

"This was a clean, up-to-date hotel, but it was not near a subway line, so I had to take buses or taxis; otherwise it was neat, clean and modern but not too close to many eating places."
Date of Stay:

The hotel is nice enough, but.... this hotel, while nice enough, is at the very very north end of GTown. It is quite a hike down to Wisconsin and M - the center of GTown.
