the hotel had a really bad smell (like sewer water) in my room, elevator and hallways. My reservations where not correct upon arrival.

Great location, clean well kept rooms. Breakfast was very expensive. Great location, good staff, clean rooms.

Pro: Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Good rate. Con: Carpet in the hallway smelled funny. Stomped and killed a few small cockroaches when entering the room.

it was a good stay, but my family and I got impressed that walking to the galleria was about 20 minutes, by car was very good. good restaurants around, but the worst room service, because the hour availability. the rooms are very good also the bed and the air conditioner. the hotel looks better in the photos

We traveled to Houston to enjoy the Houston Rodeo. The location of the hotel to the Relant Statium was very good. After enjoying the rodeo, my family and I along with a few friends also enjoyed the Galleria. Which was one block from the hotel. I could not have asked for any better location

The location is awesome. The hotel is due for remodeling. The staff was very friendly, but the rooms are and the hallways are definitely getting old. They really need to remodel.

This is a quality Holiday Inn that was apparently cut off by competing freeways. But, the service makes up for the initial inconvenience of making all the correct exits for arrival. Good rates, 10% discount on good evening dining, friendliest staff in Texas!

I've stayed here a few times over the past couple of years and each time the place is getting better and better. The hotel underwent a large renovation late last year and it shows. The brand new beds are great and the place overall looks excellent. The staff is very friendly and even recognized me as having stayed before. The location's not the very best, but it's still good. It's across the highway from the Galleria Mall, whereas many hotels are right next to the mall, but because of the location the price is a little better than the rest. Even though I drive to Houston, I still use the shuttle for a little bit of added convenience. They have an excellent breakfast and the dinner's not bad either. Their fitness center is about average, but I was told that renovating the fitness center was coming up on the list. Overall this is a great hotel with very friendly staff. At first I thought the price was kind of high, but compared to others in the area, this hotel's actually lower.

Well I stayed in the hotel for my birthday weekend, we went out to the clubs and chilled with family. The hotel is in a great location, I mean it right by the Galleria Area it couldn't have gotten any better

Nothing i like about it. i don't like any thing about this hotel it is not in the galleria and not comfortable it is location close to highway and bridge and noisy of traffic. it is not good hotel. The room open in parking lot in ground floor in dark area was very scared for my kids when they open the door really it was very terrible and i think the room they gave to me is the worst than motel in poor area ,first time i am not happy about this trip to Houston i tried with front desk to help me to change these room because my kidshave fear of the location of rooms but they didn't do any thing for me.And i also asked them to clean the rooms after the fort night but when i came back at 11:00 at the night of Saturday i found the rooms is the same no body had cleaned it . The internet is very low ,i am surprised about that hotel and about the price that i paid for it. Thanks.

This hotel is a great place to stay, close to some of the best streets in Houston for eating, shopping, etc (Westheimer, the upper Kirby area, near Rice village). I love this area, and will definately stay in this hotel again. The only down side is they don't allow pets. Also, when I was there, they had closed off all but the bottom level of the parking garage, so there were limited number of spaces, and with a huge bridge tournament going on in the conference room, I had issues finding a parking spot.

The Holiday Inn, Galleria, disappointed us. Breakfast is available on site, but it's very expensive. I also chose it for the hot tub, but it is broken. Because of its location so close to the freeway, it is difficult to get into & out of the parking area, & it's difficult to get to the Galleria. The room was clean, comfortable, & quiet, but we were disappointed about the breakfast & hot tub. Check-in took way too long, with only one person at the desk & there was no complimentary coffee in the lobby. We won't stay there again.

Easy access to the highway, staff was very accommodating. Bed was not comfortable. Guests at this hotel can expect good service, clean environs, and typical amenities for a Holiday Inn. The location allows easy highway access. If you're expecting/desire a certain aesthetic, you won't find a beautiful landscape or surrounding neighborhood. It is definitely not an elegant environment. For the utilitarian, it is a good choice.

The double bed rooms accommodated 3 adults, lousy window view, but that's okay. Located close to the Galleria and other shops and easy access to expressway to go to other sites.

Hotel is nice and clean, if you are going to just sleep there and be around town all day. So can't really say much about the dinning area or if the breakfast is good. Placed right next to the galleria and was pretty easy to get to downtown from its about 7 minn. to Minute Maid Park.

Very affordable, and convenient location. This hotel met our expectations the price we paid. Although the rooms are not the nicest, they are clean. The gentlemen at the front desk was very nice. When we had a problem with the connecting door in our room, the maintenance man was there in less than 10 minutes to correct the problem.

This hotel is a good value for the location (across the freeway from the Galleria). It is showing it's age but the rooms are clean. Signs said updates are in progress. There are two towers plus a wing in back. The wing in back has doors that open to the outside - circa 1970's style. Stayed in the wing and the towers, and the tower definitely has the better rooms. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful.

I choose this Hotel for it's location. It was near the Galleria and the highways we needed for the rest of the trip. Getting to the Hotel was tricky if you missed the one exit you had to travel back streets to come back around. The Tv was on the blink, the picture was bad. The bathroom door was sticky on the bottom as the wood must have sollen. Three days after the trip the hotel still has a temporary hold of 40 dollars on my credit card. It served the purpose however. It was very quiet and peaceful.

Very friendly and outgoing staff. Restaurant was overpriced and not a large selection. Hotel is right next to the highway and is quite noisy. Because it is on a one way street, it is difficult to get out to locations. Extremely friendly staff that constantly greeted you and was very helpful.

Location is excellent, plenty of car parking spaces, hotel was worth the money. No refrigerator, which forced me using ice for my daughter's milk.
