hotel was much better than we expected...spent most of our time at Acme Oyster House.

Location. No free breakfast included.

This hotel was decent and conveniently located but the elevators are awful! It took 30mins to get up to our room..thats with 3 elevators. Everytime we got into the elevators, the floors had puddles of beer. When checking out, the wait for the elevators was so long we decided to walk down the stairs from the 20th floor! and yes we beat everyone else down to the lobby. The stairwell was also very gross. Didnt even want to touch the hand rails. I would never stay at this hotel again based on the elevators. The staff was friendly enough. Nothing exceptional. Didnt check out the pool...didnt want to risk getting off at the 10th floor and waiting another 30mins to get back on the elevator.

Not much in the lobby, elevators are small but the room was comfortable, clean and a nice space.

The hotel was fine, but I was disappointed in most of the amenities and service overall. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Service was not friendly and was slow. Elevator line out the door half the time. The Check-in line was out the door. Crowded and hectic lobby. Small elevators that weren't always air conditioned. Spotty cleanliness. Don't count on an exercise room. 2 broken stationary bikes and an old treadmill in a room about that is the size of a closet. It was fine because most of my time was spent outside of the hotel and it was a convenient location, but overall disappointing hotel.

Location to our destination. The bed and the toilet seat. The hotel was nice but my only disappointment was the bed which sank toward it's middle, and the toilet seat.

We were very disappointed by our hotel. I do not believe that our room had been cleaned and the toilet appeared to have just been used. I do not believe the tub/shower had been bleached in months. The carpet had bits of candy covering it. Half of the lights in our room did not work. I have never actually thought that our room would be broken into or stolen from until our stay in this hotel. The swimming pool was very cloudy with a green hue which was not appealling in the least. This is by far the worst holiday inn that we have ever stayed in and did not represent the type of establishment that the Holiday Inn name is associated with. The area of town in which it is located left a little to be disired; but its close proximity to Bourbon, Canal, and the market made up for it. The staff were polite but not overly frienly. We will definately find another place to stay on our next trip.

Hotel overall was a good value for the money especially with the free parking. Great location. Good pool area. Restaurant was good. Family enjoyed the pool table. Front desk extremely friendly. Car stayed parked. Didn't need it to get around. Conceirge got us a great deal on a city tour package. Housekeeping could use some extra lessons on cleaning. Items were left out in the room from the previous guests. They didn't replace the empty kleenex box. Some one took candy from our room. I would suggest locking your belongings. Overall good stay.

for this particular chain i was expecting something nice. this hotel wasnt updated on the floor we were on and then on our last day when we started to go check out they were ripping up the carpets infront of the elevators. the staff was ok but had attitude problems, the room smelled as if they just changed the sheets adn put someone else their.

Location. Paying for parking $26.00 a day.

The staff was always great. Very, Very friendly and hospitable. We got off a cruise and had nowhere to go with our luggage at 8:30 a.m. Went to see if we could have them watch our bags and to our surprise, they let us go ahead and check in. The rooms and hallways are really outdated. For the price and location, you can't complain too much. It is very centrally located to all the fun activites. The only complaint that I would have is, our room was facing Bourbon St. and we were on the 20th floor and you could hear everything going on down below. It almost felt at times like there were people talking in your room. It could of just been our location, but after a long day/night on Bourbon st. the last thing you want to hear is that noise.

On the fringe of the French Quarter, walking distance to everything. Old hotel, slow elevators. Room was clean and comfortable.

Friendly Staff Daily Cleaning Crew We stayed here for 4 days and the TV would quit each day. They would come and reset it each day. We had to ask for the room to be cleaned each day and restocked. The staff was very nice and helpful other than that.

Excellent location for "first timers". This is nice if you plan to head to the Garden District, Casino, Moon Walk, Warehouse District or Canal St. Streetcar. Way too close to Canal if you plan on spending most of your time in the Quarter or the Marigny. Staff was always very friendly and helpful. Rooms were good, but nothing special. Fine for most folks visiting NOLA, as little time is spent in your room. Elevators could be a bit slow. Limited lobby seating. Hotel's lobby restroom was through the restaraunt next door (connected by a door).

The location is excellent. Park right at the hotel so you don't have to hunt down a place to park. There were no "surprise" charges when I checked in or out. There is very good security at the hotel and great value for your money. I would definitely stay here again & recommend to others.

For the price this place was great and walking distance to great shops and places to eat. The parking fee is the only real draw back

It's very conveniently located in the French Quarter. I reserved two rooms, but when checking in had to remind the concierge to give me both rooms.

This hotel is just one block from the "party" section of Bourbon Street and about a half a block from Canal Street shopping. Short walk to everywhere! Front desk was friendly and fast. They even let us check in about an hour earlier than the official check in time. Free parking was a definite plus! Room was just OK. No problems at all and with the convenient location I was more than satisfied!

Excellent Location in the French Quarter. Very adequate facility. Free parking only thru the travel website. We will stay again.
