Hotel was clean, people friendly. Was close Manhattan. If your not familiar with the area travel is very confusing even with a map. Lots of roads going all directions. West bound access to the hotel is blocked by a four foot tall median wall. You must past the hotel for 4.2 miles to reach a turn around exit. We called this the Great Wall of China. Is scary watching your hotel go by and not knowing when the wall ends. Hotel has a restaurant, nice. But would have been nicer to have a free continental breakfast.

Reasonably priced children's breakfast. Some parts looked worn and old. Nearby roads confusing. A modestly priced chain hotel that did the job; although other places I've stayed more closely matched their rating. Not impressive, not horrible.

We stayed there in October of 2008 and this was not our first stay at this hotel. This is not a fancy hotel, it is on a very busy highway and there is some traffic noise in the background. The location is very good for somebody visiting NY driving. You start the car and you are on the GW Bridge. Clean, free parking and the price is right too. We have not tried their restaurant other than for breakfast and it was acceptable.

The accomodations were nice. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Microwave and mini-fridge No view to speak of from our room, but that doesn't really mean that much to me. The only negative thing that I have to say about the accomodations is that there was only one working elevator which made going back and forth to the room a chore. The restaurant was a disappointment. The service was very slow, despite there only being 3 or 4 tables seated and the food was not hot. If you are going to stay there, I suggest eating elsewhere

The Holiday Inn George Washington Bridge proved to be a comfortable and quite convenient place to stay while visiting NY. Although it meant a bus and metro ride approximately 20 minutes into Manhattan, it was much cheaper than staying in New York and also made a peaceful, respite after busy days of sightseeing in the busy city.

It was very close to the George Washington Bridge. Noise from the party downstairs could be heard too loud in the room. Got a good price for a location near NYC (Manhattan).

everything for the most part was 'ok'. Except the resturant was terrible. We wanted a nice dinner and paid over dollars for a steak that came with 5 beans and 10 fries. The steak was ordered medium rare and came still alive. It was so disgusting I couldnt finish it. I would have said something but our waiter never came back after dropping the food off until the check came which had his automatic $ gratuity posted on it. We were afraid the rest of our stay to ask the hotel for anything in fear that they would charge us on the credit card we left them at the front desk. Don't eat there.

I found the hotel convenient, comfortable, and nice. It's located about 8 miles from Times Square, with easy access to downtown. The hotel staff gave us directions for driving along with the other options available for getting downtown. The room was clean and the bed terrific. The next morning with had a wonderful breakfast for about one-third the cost of eating in Manhattan. I highly recommend the hotel. It's not fancy, but more than sufficient.

I wasn't happy at all. The elevator was smelly. It looked like the carpet was old making it smell everytime we had to use it. The hotel was on a major street that was one way so everytime we went out we had to go up the street several blocks to go turn around and head towards town. And then when we returned we had to go up a couple blocks to u-turn and come back to the hotel. The lobby was small, the elevator was small, and so where the hallways. For the price of the rooms, it wasn't worth it! If the rooms were cheaper then it would have been nice. We expect a little bit better quality and service for the money.

Proximity to Fordham University. Terrible for getting out of parking lot onto expressway! Noisy. For the money, it way just OK. Pulling out of the parking lot into traffic that is traveling at 50-60 mph is very dangerous. Our room was on the expressway side and had a lot of road noise.

After driving for 8 hours it was nice to receive a quick check in. Only problem; we reserved King Size and got 2 doubles!? Couldn't be changed as the rooms are assigned at check in time!?? Waiters/Chef were very slow. Dinner took 1 hour to arrive at our table. Suggest eating outside the hotel.

If you drive a car , it is convenient place. Because it is a hotel on the side of R4. The movement to New York is difficult in the public transportation facility.

We got to the hotel early and they let us check in very early. I like everything. This hotel is perfect and affordable for anyone who wants to visit Manhattan. A quick taxi and you are in the center of NYC! And the hotel is friendly and helpful with travel suggestions.

To start off, the staff was very impolite to us when we arrived in the lobby. We tried to check in, but it turns out that they gave both our rooms away because we were "late" - however we had already booked in advance and paid for the entire stay online They did not even call us to tell us our rooms were given away, and had the audacity to blame us for being late, EVEN THOUGH WE PAID FOR THE ROOMS ALREADY. We had to book at another hotel in NYC, which was only $ more per room. Refund process is STILL unsettled! Very rude, very unpleasant experience, plus $8+ toll to get into NYC, this hotel is DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE "SAVINGS"!

This is a good place to stay for someone who is visiting New York by car. The hotel is located conveniently near GWB and you can hop-into freeways to the Bronx, Queens and Manhattan. It has ample free parking. Service from the housekeeping staff was very prompt. They took care of our room very well. The room was clean and neat. Except for the slow draining sink and tub, we were pleased with our stay. The place is in renovation, but it did not bother us any.

The hotel was at a short distance from downtown New York. It was very conveniant because we had a car and used it to go there. However, there is no shuttle available form that hotel. The rooms were clean . The hotel staff could have been more helpful.

The parking was excellent, staff friendly and helpful and the room was totally comfortable. It was decorated a little on the dark side, browns, etc. otherwise, great. We needed a place near the city for several days and this was a first time using computer for this purpose. Would certainly do it again and again. It was a great experience-we were all checked in when we arrived-no hassles. The room was comfortable and restaurant was friendly and totally acceptable. It was a great all around experience during a very stressful time for us.

Very clean hotel, Friendly Staff. Short drive over the George Washington Bridge into the city. This is the best hotel if you are going into the city and dont want to spend a lot of money on a hotel. All the other hotels charge about 20-35 dollars parking. The holiday in parking is free of charge.

It is just ok. Staff was not helpful. I had trouble to get internet working, I asked the front desk to help. There is no help at all except cut off my phone line. So all my stay was no internet and no phone service.

I really enjoyed my stay, the staff was friendly and very helpful when asked how to get into the city. I would recommend to anyone staying in the NYC area.
