We stayed at this Holiday Inn because we had complications with our flight. It was the best night of our entire vacation. This hotel was gorgeous, the decor in the room was so impressive. While I wasn't particularly impressed with the staff at the front desk - particularly Elicia the girl would did our check out; the restaurant staff was GREAT! Pino and Rose were so friendly and I was glad to meet them. Our meal was fantastic - I had a NY strip steak that was delectable! I would and I will visit this hotel again - I was very pleased with the accomodations and service.

The Holiday Inn by the airport was absolutley without a doubt the best motel stay in Fort Lauderdale. I go there 1, sometimes twice per month. I will in the future try to stay here. It is costly, But for what you receive, worth it. The check in was smooth as silk. I am now working on march's stay as i write this. They also honor AARP, AAA AND MILITARY, AS WHICH AS I AM ALL 3. pEOPLE STAY HERE JUST ONCE AND YOU WILL BE HOOKED...LOVE IT AND THANK YOU STAFF..RIGHT OFF 95. iF YOU DON'T WANT TO USE RESTAURANT THERE, PLENTY CLOSE. BEAUTIFUL ROOM.......

Leaving. Arriving. We arrived, my wife and two children - ages 7 and 9 - after a very late flight only to be given a smoking room. We were told there were no other rooms available. It's past 11pm, my children are literally falling asleep on the couches as I fight with the night manager about the completely unacceptable room situation. My son has allergies and could be asthmatic. Suddenly, he found a room to give.

The Holiday Inn was very clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. Was a bit disappointed that the restaurant wasn't open the night we were there but the manager was very accomadating and provided transportation to a nearby restaurant. Was disappointed with the breakfast buffet. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Location near the airport. The room was not very clean. The location near the airport makes this a good short term stop if you need to fly the next morning. The pool area is also nice. The room was attractive, but was not that clean. I found crumbs in the chair cushions and around the edge of the box spring by the headboard, and the carpet did not appear to have been vacuumed.

"We arrived at 1:30 AM, the day before a cruise. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very tastefully furnished, the bathroom was very nice, there was no unpleasant odor, as so many rooms have, the bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint was that there was no obvious information outside of the breakfast buffet. We learned, too late, that it was $9.95 per person with an extra charge for orange juice! It looked like it was included in the room rate. We took their shuttle to the cruiseport, $10 pp,. We would definitely stay there again."

Desk clerk was very helpful and the shuttle was great. The staff was helpful, and cheerful. The free shuttle runs every half hour, and on time. The rooms are beautiful. I would stay again.

"It was 9pm in the evening and after 8 hours of traveling, we checked into our room, placed the suitcases on the floor, laid a jacket down on the dresser under the TV, and were completely obvious to the hundreds of small white bugs crawling all over the dresser and carpet.About 20 minutes later, we discovered the bugs were everywhere and in shock, we telephoned the on-duty manager. He labeled them ""white ants"" and sent maintenance to spray. We changed rooms and spent the rest of the evening picking bugs off our clothes. Best advise, don't stay here! "

The non smoking room and the new carpet in room. It was clean. The hotel driver who took us to cruise port. I'm glad I still a.m. alive. Hotel was good and served us well. However, the drivers of the vans need to learn how folks appreciate their lives and are on vacation to relax, not take a thrill ride and hope you survive.

Very comfy rooms, beautiful pool area. No food service between 10am and 6pm. This hotel was perfect for a pre-cruise stay. It is located close to the airport and the cruise port. Clean rooms, comfy beds, and very nice staff. If you are just staying for the night, no need for a car. If you are planning a longer stay, a car would be great as everything is a mile or so away. Happily, there is a car rental desk at the hotel. The Seminole Hard Rock is a bit over four miles away. (A walkalbe distance, as I did walk back to the hotel from there). Many restaurants and shops within a two-three mile radius. I would definitely stay there again. (With a car).

Beautiful grounds and pool, exceeded all my expectations. No continental breakfast available, only restaurant. Lovely pool area with many plants and a waterfall, you felt you were in a tropical getaway. Just because you are furnished a photo does not mean it is recent and the hotel will still look that way. This one was truly high class and worth every penny.

Very clean, nice, big bathroom. Overall it was very nice. Clean, roomy nice pool area. We stayed on our way back from a cruise good location, easy to get to, right off the highway. Pool area was very nice. Staff was fine not overly friendly but ok. It was clean and quiet and we would stay there again and I have already recommended it to friend.

Location cleanliness, great service and ease of transportation. Nothing. The limo service was great to get us around. The hotel had great computer services in their business center car rental services in the lobby. We were on our cruise and arrived real early in the morning they went out of their way to get us in a room as quickly as possible.

Beautiful rooms, great pool & hot tub. They closed the pool & hot tub for a wedding for hours. Excellent location, beautiful lobby, great spacious rooms, nice flat screen TV in the room. Hotel bar was good but super expensive. Pool & hot tub area is absolutely gorgeous. Very convenient to the highway & airport. Great shuttle service. No complaints except they closed the pool & hot tub for a wedding which was a huge bummer. We chose the hotel because of the pool and the whole afternoon was wasted because of it. They should have told us when we booked it. Otherwise, great hotel, location and overall experience. I would definitely stay here again.
