Bed was comfortable. Bathroom wasn't clean; chunk of toilet ceramic on floor. The Holiday Innat Fishkill is nice, but in need of a decor refresher/re-model. The king-size bed in the single room was comfortable, and the TV was an older 25CRT model (not a newer LCD). As with most hotel entry doors, there is considerable room noise leakage from underneath the door into the corridor. I stayed in an outside-facing room that had an external door which allowed for exit but no re-entry. I was not told at check-in that any free continental breakfast was available, so I can only assume there wasn't one. The cleaning staff should have more pre-customer room checks as the alarm clock was ad/unplugged, and the bathroom wasn't completely cleaned (a large chunk of toilet ceramic was on the floor & mouthwash spot lets on toilet). I used Priceline for over half-off the room price, so I couldn't be too upset on the total price. However, if I had paid full price, I would have been upset for what was billed as a 3-star or better" hotel by Priceline.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Hotel recently and was pleasantly surprised. Stayed couple of years ago and it was rundown. Now it is renovated with new carpeting, new beds, furniture, new Moen shower heads, curved rods and the new white duvets are so comfortable. The meeting rooms are nice and the food is great in banquets and in the restaurant (best steak I ever had!). The staff goes above and beyond and made me feel welcome. Would definitley recommend this hotel for business or leisure

My stay was a very comfortable one. The location accomodates a wide selection of places to eat. All within a small radius. The lobby, bar and dining area are very inviting. the staff was very helpful with anything I needed. The only comment I have about the rooms would be, they are slightly dated, but were just fine.

Location. Everything else. The plumbing was broken in our bathroom, which was unrepairable so we had to move into another room. Housekeeping was horrible. All they did was make our bed and remove the trash. I spilled water in the coffee tray and it was still there upon my return. I also had popcorn which I found a few cereals on the floor after housekeeping was in. Overall I would never stay there again!

i normally am a person who dreads staying at hotels but let me tell you i honestly think this is the best hotel ive ever stayed at. the front desk staff was very knowledgeable and gave very good directions to and from local areas of intrest. the rooms were larger then i expected and compared to the hamton next door almost twice the size. the pool had a very nice atmosphere and is a great place to lay back and have a drink if your ever in the area i highly recomend this hotel

Location was close to the highway. Our room was a long way from restaurant and main lobby. There was a power failure where we ended up having no lights in our bathroom, but we were compensated with a free breakfast so that helped with the inconvenience.

Check-in takes long because of short staff, room smelled like musty old carpet and stale cigarettes (even though it was a non-smoking room). Over-all dingy and dirty. Too many better options next door.

Cleanliness and comfort were the tops. The restaurant breakfast was too pricey. My room was perfect. The bed did not have the hideous bedspread that I so detest. It was inviting and very, very comfortable. The bathroom and bedroom were clean. I would definitely visit again.

The staff was so nice, went above, and beyond to accommodate us. Nice room as well! The Hotel was convenient if you are looking to stay in the Fishkill, Poughkeepsie area. It is right off of Rte 84, so very convenient, and easy to locate. The staff was great, accommodating, and friendly! The Hotel room was clean, nice size with the two queen beds. The mattress I must say was one of the most comfortable I have slept on. My daughter who is 24 commented on the same. (The front desk told me they put in all new mattresses!) The grounds are nice, cute sitting areas to sit, and read. Overall, would recommend highly!

Had modern computer facilities. No continental breakfast. This hotel really didn't meet my expectations. It doesn't even come with a complementary continental breakfast. Instead, a regular hot breakfast is optional, and not free! In addition, it has no indoor pool, and no microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms.

The hotel seemed to be renovated recently in a nice way. There was an NRA convention there. I have to say the hotel was swankier than I'd expected. The room was spacious and the linens were quite nice. The bathrooms were a bit on the small side, and they weren't as nice as the bedroom space. The lobby was quite elegant, surprisingly so.

Large comfortable room and bed. Hard to find light switches. Excellent and comfortable for convenient stay in this location. Very business-park location - no where to walk or anything, but good vehicular access to local attractions and conveniences.

Rooms were clean and the staff very helpful. You had to sign up for something to get the free breakfast. Staff is very nice here and the rooms were good. No frig or microwave in the rooms however. It is a long walk to the lobby and the layout is a bit confusing. we were not happy that we had to sign up got something in order to get the free breakfast buffet. If we hadn't done that it would have been $10 per person. Found the advertising for free breakfast deceptive.

The hotel was okay but there were nicer hotels around. It was an older hotel with newer hotels around. The hotel was okay for the price. But there are nicer hotels in area, if you would of even charged a little more for them it would be worth it thank you.

Friendly staff, great location. Bathroom door didn't close. Shower & tub not working properly. Nice Hotel, however the bathroom needed a little work. (Door was broken.) Thought it was a 3 star, more like 2 star. The price was great. Refrigerator in the room was missing. Would of been very disappointed if I would have paid more.

I stay in this area frequently on business. I've been to this hotel on more than one occasion and wouldn't go back if the choice was mine.
