Hotel staff were attentive, friendly, and professional. The room was spacious and clean but looked like it was last updated in the early 90's. Our room was hot and never cooled down even though we set the A/C on high. We did not inform the front desk of this problem til after we checked out. This point may only be significant if other guests had same problem.

Location. Did not change the bed sheet. Check the bed sheet first before take the room.

I spend the majority of my time on the road for business, traveling all over the US. I must say that this is a quaint and unique hotel that has a trend of its own. You will not see the common decor that follows in most hotels now a days - but you will see character and a friendly staff member around every corner. This clean, well kept treasure is a breathe of fresh air from all the other cookie cutter hotels that are being placed on every city corner. The staff is remarkable, but the restaurant hours are limited. I believe it was not open for lunch, but the breakfast buffet reminded me of home :-) Also, the new bedding, shower heads, shower curtains, towels and curved shower rod really has made a tremendous difference in the rooms. I can not wait to come back to Frederick, MD to stay here again - and all I have to say to the staff is KEEP IT UP!

I have stayed in this hotel 3 to 4 times over the last 20 years. It unlike some others, has maintained its quality. Even the hard to keep up areas like the pool and sauna, were first class.

Room service. Prompt and tasty. Inside rooms. No windows. I would stay here again only if I could get a room with an outside window, not one overlooking the inside recreation and pool area.

Dog hair and dog smell was too noticeable. The Holidrome rooms are dark and music played at least until 2am. At 10am the noise and music resumed. The fitness center is at best 20 x 20 sf, has 3 low tech. treadmills and an ellitical machine. Nothing more. The pool is quite small. The Hotel was difficult to get to and located in the center of highways. Definietly not worth the money and would not recommend staying here.

The Holiday Inn Frederick MD was a good buy for the money based on comparisons of other hotels in the area. Very much liked the pool and balcony effect. Rooms were comfortable and well furnished.

Nice place, better than most Holiday Inn's. Top notch. Traveled throughout the region, but was pleased with the short drive to many Civil War battle fields. Will stay here again!

Check in was handled professionally and addressed my special requests for room placement. All service was good including cleaning services. only complaint was the pool was too cold! another guest said they requested to have it heated more the day before and was told it was 84. it didn't feel that way to us or our son who swims 2x a week for lessons. nice facilities and I recommend this hotel where you get a lot of features for the price. They just need to heat the pool!

Hotel was difficult to find. You could see it from the highway, but there was no signage on the road to direct you past the mall and back to where the hotel was located at the end of a office complex area. Front desk check in and check out were efficient and quick. Room was a nice size but the bathroom was very small. AC unit was very noisy.

Room size was large. Hallways were hot and stairs were dirty and stunk of beer. Location is strange as it is part of a mall parking lot. The hotel is a simple no frills stay with pricing beyond the amenities available.

This is a great place to go to get away from life and relax. Everything you need is right there for you and your family plus you can go out of the hotel for pleanty of activities. I would definetly recommed it. An added joy is that my pets can come with us, including the bird!

The Holidome. Nothing. Hotel is starting to look a little dated, probably last renovated in the late 90s, but the pool facilities are great. We had a room on the atrium and enjoyed being able to take the spiral staircase down from our balcony to the pool. The sauna and hot tub were great added features.

Tow out of the three days we stayed, we didn't receive housekeeping services. We were gone for most of the day and I had to call in the evenings to request service! They sent a porter to drop off some towels and they didn't take the dirty towels! For this to happen as an ""oops"" for a day is potentially understandable. But - TWO DAYS IN A ROW? Completely unacceptable!

Dated rooms. Ithink they had better rooms but gave us an older one.

Great value, full service, more than I expected. Bed was right next to pool area, noisy at night.

The hotel for the price, and that it had several things in the hotel to keep you busy without leaving the grounds. I don't think it had a local newspaper box on the grounds.

Very clean and comfortable. This was a very comfortable stay. The bed was comfy, the sheets clean and comfy, the room temp control worked well, the bathroom was clean and not too cramped. We played ping pong, miniature golf, and football in their pool area. Restaurants close by and a mall. Walmart and Target are close as well. The staff was courteous and very helpful.

Location of hotel was perfect for my needs. Wireless access was slow. Room was clean and well-appointed. Internet access was slow.
