The Holiday Inn Express in AIken, SC was very comfortable. The room was clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast menu each morning was varied and filling. We used the work out room and internet - everything was very convenient, There are restaurants and stores within walking distance - right across the street to be exact.

Free breakfast. 4 AM user in exercise room worked us up with loud TV. Very unfriendly staff at front desk with no hospitality, either at check in or at 4AM. We were woken up at 4AM by an exercise user watching loud TV in the exercise room, which was located right next to our room. Staff was very reluctant to ask 4AM exercise person to lower TV. When we got angry, she finally agreed to talk to person. We heard her ask the man to turn down TV, and he did, but the machine noise continued. Carpets old & crummy looking.

Pretty nice place. I was a little hesitant since the hotel behind it had many more cars in the lot. I don't know if that is the reason for good service but, that is what I received. The room was nice, cleaner than I expected and quite. There is an Applebee?s right across a small street, a definite plus. If I were to find a downside, I would say the breakfast. Don't get me wrong it was not bad, just not great. The price was a tad on the high side but, I guess if you want good service and clean a room that is the price you pay. I would stay again and recommend. To tell the truth this hotel was recommended to me.

Stayed here for three nights, room was very clean, recently updated everything. The staff was very, very friendly and courteous, housekeeping was GREAT!!!! The free breakfast was very good, something different each day, included hot items. Definiltely will stay again when I go to visit my sister.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights and it was conveniently located to all the sites of Aiken. The room was clean, the linens were clean and they advised us they do wash all the blankets once a week. The beds were comfortable, with double sheets with a down quilt-like in the middle. There was a restaurant next door. They did serve a nice complementary breakfast in the lobby. All of the people connected with this hotel are very friendly and helpful. I will visit this hotel in the future.

The staff was wonderful from reception to cleaning crew. Reception from my cell phone was 0 bars inside the room. 5 outside. I enjoyed the stay mainly because of the super friendly staff. Morning and night crews were very helpful and friendly. Location is great and in a beautiful area of the city.

Friendly helpful staff, convenient, price effective. Pool water could have been cleaner. This hotel fit the bill, exactly what we needed. Great breakfast bar, exercise room was closed due to renovation two days.

I generally prefer hotels (inside entrance) over motels (exterior room entrance), but this motel was nice. The rooms were very clean and everything looked new. The beds were very comfortable. The high-speed wireless internet was free and fast! The pool area also had a hot tub.The breakfast had both cold and hot items: cereal, milk, eggs, biscuits, gravy, sausage and more.I would recommend this motel, and I would certainly stay here again.

"The staff was professional and helpful and the rooms were clean and polished. They had to look of a room for twice the price. A great bargin. The second floor hike might not work for some, so if you need ground floor call ahead."

I was quite surprised with how nive the room was for the price. The linens were crisp and attractive and the room was clean and new. Good safe location.

Stayed here a few times before but this last time got upset when checking in. I won't stay here again. Doesn't make a difference evening if your a Plantinum member. Staff needs training on what customer service is all about. Best place to stay if you want to get upset.

"The rooms were beautiful; the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our air conditioner broke out last night, but was replaced within 20 minutes from the time we reported it! The breakfast bar was varied and delicious. We would definitely stay here again."
