we were there for a jazz outting. It is a great location for your downtown activities. The parking lot is small and cramped. The bathroom is small and cramped and the tub appeared dingy but overall it was a good stay. could not get the internet to work for us.

I arrived for late check in and had to cross the street to go to a different hotel for dinner. The bed was hard, the heating system noisy, and the window was broken. The irst morning of my stay the valet incorrectly told me I had a flat in my rental car which made me late for an important client meeting. I returned after the meeting to discover I need not have spent $70 on cabs. The hotel moved me to a different room with no broken window, however the heating system was still noisy and the bed uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel if there is an alternative for you within a reasonable cost.

Spacious room, comfy beds andgood breakfast complimentary. Distance from some attractions we went to, but still not too far. My family loved this hotel. The beds were amazing and it was actually a smoke-free hotel. Everything smelled great. The staff was friendly and we plan to return.

The Holiday Inn Express was very clean and updated. The hotel staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. The rooms were good. The breakfast was excellent as expected(I love those cinnamon rolls!)and the reason I choose Holiday Inn Express over the other cheaper hotels. The location of the hotel to the downtown plaza shopping district was disappointing, as the internet description made it sound like it was only a few-block walk, when it was a good 2 mile drive. There are, however, some restaurants and shops a few blocks away, but not the downtown shopping district. Overall, our stay was very nice, the breakfast was great, and the hotel staff was friendly!

Breakfast was served until 10:00 am. Great for the weekend! The shower curtain had mold on it. It was a good stay, very quiet and the staff have been great both times I have stayed. They are always willing to go the extra mile to help out. Even though the location is near an area of town known for having crime, you don't get this feeling while at the hotel.

As a traveling musician , I have had opportunities to stay at a number of hotels/motels during my career. I had decided to stay at the Holiday Inn Express at Kansas City-Westport Plaza because of its location and I have stayed at other Holiday Inn Express Hotels and I have always been pleased with their staff and facilities. It just so happened that this hotel was close to some of the clubs where I was to perform. The room was quite clean and it had a large tv, internet access, a very comfortable bed, closet space and a more than adequate bathroom, and an air conditioning unit that kept the room quite cool without being too noisy. Check-in was a breeze and the desk clerks were very knowledgeable about local restaurants and other diversions.

The breakfast was of good value and the staff was very good. The parking lot was too small and it was farther from the plaza than I was expecting. The hotel was clean and inviting. There was barely enough room to pull out the couch. I was a little concerned with the parking lot. It was very small and was shared with a bar, and I was a little concerned about parking where we had to park. The free breakfast was good and the staff was very nice and helpful. If you are looking for a place on the plaza keep looking, but if you need a place in Westport it is great.

The room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The niceness of the hotel was a pleasant surprise, and the front desk ladies were very kind. The hotel was in a convenient location to the concert we attended downtown. It was close to several restaurant and shopping choices. We were pleased with our stay.

Fun restaurants/bars to the east. Scary area to the west, north, south. A lot of sirens and yelling. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Loud groups of people and sirens outside all night long. No noise from inside the hotel, but the windows were so bad it sounded like they were open when they were closed.

The staff were very helpful. I thought that they had a pool. A picture in the room had mold on it. I informed the front desk on our check out and I hope that they take care of the problem. Otherwise everything else was very nice.

Location. Very poor housekeeping, did not replenish shampoo and towels when asked, dirty bathroom. Great location especially for those who want nightlife. Bars line, the adjacent streets; many have outdoor eating/drinking areas. Good cafes as well.

Proximity to our destination was excellent. Clean and comfortable room. Staff did not respond to a request, had to get it ourselves. This hotel was exactly what we were looking for and in the exact location. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Not much to complain about.
