I expected this Holiday Inn Express to be very spartan, but I was pleasantly surprised how efficient the staff was, how good the service was, and how comfortable the room was. When there was a problem with the in-room safe, they quickly acted on it and transfered me to another room where the safe worked. What might have been nice is some assistance in moving my stuff. I would still recommend this place to a colleague or family member.

Closeness to Garden state Parkway. Mall and food close by. Race track 5 minutes away. Hotel on 35, too much traffic. Great hotel, clean. Quite. Rooms are spacious. Great for a quick stay. Food, major highway and Race track all very close by.

This was a very nice, quiet place to stay overnight. The facilities were very clean, great beds, new carpet. The continental breakfast was as good as a continental breakfast can get. Food was fresh and plentiful. Beach is 3 miles away.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites WEST LONG BRANCH, WEST LONG BRANCH, NJ during Breeders' Cup Weekend. The hotel was one mile from the racetrack and everyone in the town was looking to stay there. The receptionists/hostesses were being overwhelmed by people looking for rooms, directions, cabs, etc. they controlled the entire weekend situation in an organized and prioritized fashion.

I liked the friendliness of staff and the little extra that came with it. The only negative thing would be the lack of a small fridge. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Everything was nice and staff very friendly and always willing to accommodate you. I wished for two things only that there was a sm. fridge and that it was a tad closer to the beach but they were minor inconveniences. I am planning to return before the summer ends for another short stay.

I stayed here before the renovations, and I can't believe the difference! I wouldn't recognize it as the same hotel. Everything is new and incredibly modern and attractive. There's a business center, which is essential for me when I travel, and they really go all out with the free continental breakfast. There's really nothing else quite like the Holiday Inn Express brand because I don?t feel like I?m losing out versus staying at a really overpriced hotel. No complaints here.

This Holiday Inn Express is a good quality hotel. Room was clean, staff was friendly, hotel didnt not have a very good breakfast in the morning nor a hotel resturant or bar, but plenty of places around to dine in the area.

Friendly and helpful. Unfortunately the Jacuzzi did not work. I would stay at this hotel again, comfortable bedding and a good breakfast. Quality, friendly staff.

Clean, spacious and friendly. Construction on site, parking distance, poor view from room. Nice hotel, easy to find, pleasant staff, nice room, great breakfast buffet. Not scenic or close to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was easy to find, clean, spacious rooms, and VERY comfortable beds. The room also had microwave, refrigerator and free WI-FI. We would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to stay there again on our next visit to this area.

Comfortable, clean environment, good staff, upper level continental breakfast in the morning. The hotel front staff was well knowledgeable to guest needs for enjoyable stay, excellent maintenance and housekeepers that performed under definite management training.
