Big room suite. Waited for about 15 minute to check in only one person working the desk. Nice suite with fridge and microwave.

The management and staff of Holiday Inn Express SHelby went above and beyond my expectations during my recent stay. I was traveling on business and needed some unexpected assistance. They were understanding, patient and very creative with a solution to my needs. Shelby was a wonderful historic town to visit while away from home on business.

The bedding was very comfortable. The amenities & extras made a nice touch. The hotel staff including the housekeeping staff was all very friendly and helpful. The 5 pillows on each bed (3 firm and 2 soft) would definitely suit everyone's needs. The bedding felt like that of a luxury hotel. The free breakfast was perfect for my family. We would definitely stay at a Holiday Inn Express again.

We all enjoyed the hot breakfast buffet. No elevator. Overall, our stay was pleasant and comfortable. Would stay again.

Had stayed at this hotel before. Knew the quality already. No elevator to 2nd floor. If you are staying Shelby North Carolina, this is the best hotel for your choice. Close to downtown, close to the High Schools and not very far from Gardner Webb college. Good breakfast buffet and comfortable clean rooms. Will stay there every year when I go home to visit family.

Beds and pillows were very good. Entrance to hotel is not easy to access (at a Mall). Easy to miss the entrance. Good hotel to stay in when visiting Shelby and the surrounding area. Probably the best hotel in the area.
