The hotel was in a prime location and within a mile of sea world and belmont part. San diego zoo was a short ride and you could reach any place within 10 mins. The room was clean and was well cleaned every day. The free breakfast buffet was really great. It had a full spread with eggs, ham, bacon, toast, muffins, croissants, danish, milk, corn flakes, juice etc. It was hot, fresh and was being refilled continuously. The staff was also very plesant and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. The free high speed internet and free parking (most hotels in this area donot have this) were added bonuses

Location was very near to Disneyland.

The hotel was clean and the service there was excellent, whenever we needed help the front desk was nice and prompt. Breakfast was from 6-9 so we really didnt eat there much. Covered parking made me feel more secure leaving my car there overnight. The only negatives I have for this place are that it is right in front of a 'shady' looking thrift store, so at night I never wanted to go out alone and that there was a little part of the room had not been finished being painted, but we hardly spent any time at the hotel, overall it was a good buy. Up the road is an olive garden and a bunch of fast food places, so you will never go hungry!

Great service, checked in one half hour early and adjacent rooms were cleaned and ready. Hotel was well located with access to Sea World and waterfront. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a varied selection with eggs, bacon, bagels, and cereal. Also coffee, juice, milk and tea. I've stayed at some places that only offered a box of stale doughnuts and tepid coffee! The rooms were clean and had comfortable beds. The refrigerator and microwave came in handy as well. I would definately reccomend staying here in the future.

Nice, clean quality rooms and good breakfast. The hotel has really nice, clean, spacious and quality rooms. The bathroom did lack a fan which made for hot showers and stinky events. The parking garage was convenient but the spaces were very tight.

We didn't need a beach front location, and we found that we had everything we needed here. We had no check in hassles, even though we had booked on line. The parking was tight as others have described, but we had a full size car and managed just fine. The price for parking was right compared with other places here. Free parking under cover, free wireless internet, and a good breakfast every morning at no extra charge. The bed was very comfortable, and the bath towels were great. We were never very far from where we wanted to go. It's not the Hilton, but we didn't expect it to be. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, remembered we had come as a large family in separate rooms to celbrate a birthday. It was very close to Seaworld and very easy to get to Seaworld and back. The breakfast was nice, hot eggs or omelet, warm cinnamon rolls, and the more standard hotel breakfast fare. The rooms were very clean and neat, and were a good size. The two queen size beds plus the couch (really more of a loveseat) were great. One negative is that to reach the pool you walk through the parking structure and the pool is pretty small. They did not maintain the pool towels well as every time we went out to the pool there were no towels. While we could ask for more we would have to traipse back across the parking structure to make the request. The other negative is the parking structure is not the easiest to park in or to leave out of as the spaces are small, close together, with numerous support beams you have to park around. However, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Nice experience in all and staff was friendly, great breakfast. Parking was sparse and cramped. Good clean and quiet hotel that is convenient to downtown and Sea World.

Spent two nights here mid-week with my wife. Brought our bicycles along, too, for a ride around the Sea World area. Pleasant, helpful front desk staff. Although the room faced I-8, it was not noisy at all. Bathroom was clean, room was clean. There are no "views" to speak of at this location...but you're not paying a lot, either. Parking was free and our Form Ranger had no problems negotiating the underground facilities. I can see where a full-size SUV might have problems parking, though. Breakfast was beyond expectations, and was hot and fresh. All staff was courteous and helpful. My ratings are based on this being a $*** and it was a great value.

This hotel was great! Very clean, great personnel and a wonderful breakfast. We were a little disappointed in the location of the hotel. It was hard to find and nothing really close to walk to. It is very close to the highways and to the attractions in San Diego.

Hot breakfast and friendly people. The mattresses were not so good.

I have stayed at better hotels but this hotel was good for the price. I liked that it was very close to Sea World and close to a supermarket, shopping (Target and Ross) and good restaurants within walking distance. The feeling in the rooms was like this hotel was around for a long while. There was a time I was bathing in the shower and the water switched from hot to cold. I think i read people having that same problem but it is not something i would fuss too much about. The neighbourhood looked a bit scary and lonely so be careful walking out at nights. The free breakfast was good also. If i am on a low budget and I want to be in this area, I would stay at this hotel again, just for convenience. All in all it was not that bad.

We enjoyed our seven day stay. The location was excellent for our first time vacation visit to San Diego. We were a few minutes from all the SD attractions. Right near I-8 which gave us access to all of the nearby freeways. La Jolla was just up the coast about 15 minutes away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary buffet breakfasts were a good way to start each day. The room was clean and generous in size, well appointed with a minifridge and microwave. The parking (free) was underneath (inside) the hotel and very convenient to the elevator to the room. Nearby, within easy walking distance, there were shopping areas and restaurants that we used during our stay. The "Embers" restaurant, across the street, provided a good menu at reasonable prices and we ate there several times for convenience.

The parking was a little tight for our SUV. This hotel was very clean in all aspects. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

So close to Sea World and restaurants. The hotel was great and the fact that you get a large breakfast selection and a news paper really brings the true cost of the hotel room down. The room was huge and did not smell. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. Check in was great and I did not have to pay for parking. For someone who does not need fancy stuff but is willing to pay a little more - this is your hotel. I look forward to staying here again.......

The staff as well as the facilities were always very nice, very helpful, not only were th rooms clean but very comfortable and cozy. The food was very good, plentiful and appetizing. We are hoping to stay there again soon. Disneyland was not far away and Disneyland was probably 100 miles.

Free covered parking, hot breakfast, no nasty comforters on the beds. Slow elevators. Great location, loved the free hot breakfast and free covered parking. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel appears to have been updated recently. Very quiet, family and business traveler friendly. Will definitely stay there again.
