We liked the fact that this is a nonsmoking hotel. The room was nice and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. It was rainy while we were there, so we didn't try out the pool.

I loved that you changed the clean white, fresh looking bedding. The complimentary breakfast: the milk was spoiled and the yogurt choice was awful - couldn't eat it. Need something more simple and real.

We stayed in this hotel for a vacation. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable, but there wasn't a lot of room around all the furniture. Our tv had a few issues, but overall, we enjoyed the stay in the room. The breakfast bar left a lot to be desired. There were not many options and the dining area was very small. All in all, we enjoyed staying in the hotel, it was comfortable, but small.

We had an fast check-in. The Holiday Inn's staff was informative and polite. The breakfast was good and had a variety of things to eat. We were in Santa Fe for a long weekend and we enjoyed our stay immensely.

The room was very clean. The parking lot is horrible. The hotel was what I had expected, a place to sleep. The bed was clean and the staff was helpful for the most part.

The hotel was clean, but the rooms were very small. The free break-fast good on one day, not so good the next day. (Yoghurt and OJ was not available the second day). This was close to lot of restaurants and downtown.

Daytime staff really tried to make guests feel welcome and offer suggestions for restaurants, etc. No info. On how to set wake up call, and night staff I called for assistance never called me back. Nothing special, but convenient to Santa Fe and relatively affordable. Staff was friendly. Free breakfast is a plus but limited selection for those of us who can't eat dairy or meat.

I can't begin to tell you how impressed I was with the hotel and staff. Everything was cleaned to perfection! The room was comfortable. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful. They were able to give us tips on where to eat and what to do in Santa Fe. What a great experience. I would definetely stay here again!!!

This hotel has been updated and the pictures are of the old hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Near lots of shopping and resturants. This hotel is not too close to old Santa Fe, but it's not too far of a drive.

Pleasant scent, clean, friendly staff, great design. We traveled 4500 miles attempting to do so economically. Our final night of travel was Santa Fe Holiday Inn. It was the best of all.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. After traveling by car for several hours that is what most of us would expect, friendly staff and a clean room. This is exactly what is provided here. The room was as expected with a clean room and the A/C on to a pleasant temperature for guest arrival. This was a room we used for exploring town, so easy access to restaurants and the plaza was an important consideration. Not so much about the pool. The included breakfast is a nice place to socialize with other guest or staff about plans for the day or pick up some suggestions. Our suggestions for dinning; The Burrito Co. Northeast off the plaza, The Shed also Northeast off the plaza, Catamount Bar & Grill one block south off the plaza. Exploration; Loretto Chapel. Activities; Come down in May for the Santa Fe Century bicycle ride.

For a pricy town like Santa Fe this room was a good value. The complimentary breakfast was very nice and had a lot of variety. The room was a bit small but exceptionaly clean. The refrigerator would be nice for extended stays.

To enjoy Santa Fe, it is better to reserve downtown hotels. But it is expensive and needs extracosts, such as parking lot etc. In this hotel, parking and breakfast for my family were free(good qulity). Staffs were very frendly and delightful. Pool was out of order during my stay. But I can use pool in Hampton Inn over the street instead. The hotel was good.

The Holiday Inn Express served my basic needs for a decent price. The microwave, refridgerator and coffee-maker (don`t take it for granted, I just stayed at the Nugget in Sparks NV-NO coffee-maker) are a great help in keeping dining costs down. The bed and linens were nice, the rooms clean. Staff was helpful. The continental breakfast does not have the Inn of the Governors worried. Cereal, yogurt,hot cinnamon rolls, some tired pastries and bacon or sausage patty, coffee and juice.Stay away from the scrambled eggs.Hot cookies in the afternoon if you were fast enough (please stop burning them, guys). Do not expect Santa Fe charm. Wake up and you`d have a hard time telling if you were in Santa Fe or Santa Ana.Hopefully you`ll be spending your vacation outside-driving to the plaza and other attractions.The location on Cerrillos Road is convenient to fast food, not too far from the mall and some reasonable restaurants, but not close to the plaza or more scenic areas of Santa Fe. Traffic on Cerrilllos was an issue due to ongoing Railrunner construction which should be completed by the end of 2008. If you don`t want to blow all your vacation bucks on a hotel, this is a safe choice.

Refrigerator, microwave, clean, easily accessible from Interstate, quiet, breakfast better than usual- skim milk option. Forgot to clean room 1 day, no whole grain bread products.

Although the hotel was in the midst of remodelling, the rooms were extremely comfortable, clean and relaxing. The breakfast meal was exceptional and the wait staff very friendly and helpful. This was the first of numerous business trips to Santa Fe that I contemplate, along with my partners, and I am sure we will stay their each trip. Very, very relaxing and friendly.

Quiet rooms, good complimentary breakfast, refrigerator in the room, coffee pot in room. They do not offer complimentary breakfasts on Saturday mornings. Great place to stay and reasonable rates for Santa Fe. The staff was very cordial and friendly. The hotel has just undergone a remodeling and everything is new.
