The Holiday Inn Express in Poulsbo, WA. was a very pleasant experience with clean rooms, very nice linens, and updated amenities in the room. A good value. It was nice knowing we had the best accomodations in the area when the other relatives arrived and complained about their hotels!

I've stayed at this particular hotel for the last couple of years and it is a joy to come back! As a corporate traveler, myself and my crew stay at hotels that really know customer service. They know our names and recognizes us everytime like family. Their customer service is unmatched with other hotels I've been to and on top of that they have clean rooms and awesome hot breakfast. Nothing else our crew can ask for! As much as we travel, we actually look forward to coming to Poulsbo rather than dreading it due to the Holiday Inn Express in Poulsbo!

We stayed at this hotel for four nights and were very comfortable with the quiet room location. Having use of a refrigerator, iron with ironing board,the wonderful hot tub down the hall, not to mention the breakfests put on each morning by the hotel, added to the conveinance of our stay. The woman who maintained the breakfest area during our stay was a joy to talk to. We will stay at this hotel whenever we visit family in the area on future trips.

Computer, internet, printer all free used to for boarding pass. Floor in room had a hole, water damage on walls, mold and hair in bathroom, hotel smelled like bacon.

Before staying here, I read the review dated AUG 08. I toke a chance and stayed here anyway. The review written AUG 08 is not for this hotel. I found everything outstanding, from the rooms, to hotel staff, and the grounds. I have stayed here three different times, in three different rooms, and find this hotel, outstanding. I saw no mold, heard no fire alarms, and only dealt with polite, nice employees. The manager, and I talked about the previous review. The reviewer must have been in another hotel, or The Hoilday Inn Poulsbo, has undergone a huge change. This is my preferred hotel in the area, and recommend it to anyone.

Everything was as good as we expected, which was nice. Everyone was extremely friendly, nice. The lobby, halls and rooms nice as well as very clean and well kept up. Breakfast was offered within the room price making it a very good value for the money. Their mall location was hard to find. We were pleased that no noise came into the room. A nice grocery store, a liquor store, and many other shops were right in the area, easy to reach.

I stayed here on business, received a corporate rate for the room and brought my wife. The hotel website says recently remodeled. NOT SO!!! Remodled means new curtains and carpets, nothing else. Our bathroom was COVERED with mold, all over the shower grout and floor tiles. First morning, our smoke alarm started to sputter at about 6 am. (sunday, the day to sleep in) When I addressed these issues with the front desk was told that they would take care of it. We left for the entire day, came back at 11 pm, bathroom still covered in mold, to add insult, it was clear the shower hadn't even been cleaned. When I addressed the issue again with the front desk (Manager, XYZ) was told that mold is a problem in the Seattle area and they would have to get maintenance to fix the problem, but, it would create fumes in our room, so, did we want to live with mold or fumes. When I said neither was acceptable I was told that the "corporate" rate was only for one person in the room and we were not being charged for a second person. Hmm, my wife was standing right next to me when we checked in and nothing was mentioned about that, and, it was the first I had heard of this. Bottom line, room is filthy and smells like mold. If you can stay anywhere else, DO!!! I would rather have stayed in Seattle and taken the ferry across. Next time, I will do just that.
