Tried to charge me for more nites than we stayed. We stayed for 3 nights after the first night the service went down hill,no bottled water in room, no hand towels, no coffee in room. washer in fitness center if you want to call it that worked but the dryer did"nt. The first day our room was recleaned after 1 pm the next day after 430 pm this is after we called at 1 to complain and they said they would be their in 20 mins.The valet got us a cab ride from someone he knew he took us downtown, he didnt have change for us but said he would come back and pick us up and then take us sight seeing to make up the differrnce we called him three times he was always to busy, so basicaly he ripped us off. I have to go back to Monterrey a couple more time's next month and will not stay at this place

Location and decor. The language constraint in English. It is worth a stay at the HI express I Monterrey. It has comfortable rooms but good business facilities.

Clean rooms and free internet access or use of computers in lobby.This small hotel is located near the bus depot, not a very nice area, but if you know how to move around the city (metro station two blocks away), use the shuttle van (if available), or ride a cab (5.00 dlls. to sports venues or fundidora park), it is a good place to stay, specially by the price. Basic breakfast buffet that will save you time when leaving early. If dinning in the cuchara, don't order anything related to meat and check your bill before paying. Their sopa de mariscos is good and inexpensive.

We chose this on short notice due to an airline cancellation. I had to communicate in broken Spanish and we didn't even arrive until 3:00 a.m., yet the staff was very warm and accommodating and helpful (and patient with my Spanish!). We had to return to the airport early the next morning, so I can't say too much about the hotel, it was all a blur. We left too early for the breakfast, but the wonderful young woman at the desk kindly scared up some muffins.

This hotel exceeded all of my expectations. They provided free wireless internet in the rooms as well as computers in lobby area for guests that need a computer to use. There is a van service that is free and covers a very large area for getting around without parking worries. All of the staff was incredible and made our stay wonderful. Thank you to everyone. There is even a play area for children with a slide and swings ect.
