Generally comfortable, clean, modern hotel, with good service. The breakfast buffet choice was good but food was often not kept hot. Room heating was too high, and air-conditioning did not work properly, so it was not so comfortable for sleeping. Location a bit awkward - quite good for Olympic Park area, but not so convenient for other sights.

This hotel is such a good deal! It is located near a subway station and bus stop. Easy to acces main city attractions. We stayed in a superior room with park view! It was so nice, as seen in pictures. The room was so clean and smelled good, so was the bathroom. There is enough space in room and the included breakfast was good (though for a 6 night stay it was the same and after two days we got tired of it) the food is fresh and there is a variety of options like fruit, bread, eggs, salad and some chinese stuff. It was a bit crowded, because it is a big hotel. We had lunch and dinner in hotel, and food was abundant, tasty and at good price. Staff is friendly, they speak english, and if not, at least try to help you. This is a hotel to stay with friends, family or in a business travel.

We stayed in this hotel for 10 nights. This hotel, located 10 min walk to subway and next to Olympic Park, is clean, comfortable and reasonalby priced. You would not find unnecessary luxury here, like in-room liquor supplies. But, there are HD flat screen TV, in-room personal safe, extra-large shower head, and very friendly and helpful English-speaking staff. China Travel Service (CTS) counter, located in the lobby, also has very helpful English-speaking staff. CTS offers trips to common and also not-so-common sightseeing places. We took one of the CTS trips to a lesser known view point of the Great Wall. The view was out-of-this-word and had an even more exciting experience to tobaggan down from the peak. Don't worry, the ride down is quite safe. 5 min-walk away on the 5th floor of Chinatown Plaza is a 5-star restaurant which charges only 3-star prices. I assume it charges "3-star" prices because the restaurant basically caters to the "local affordables". The eatery is clean, the menu is clearly priced with pictures and the food is fantastic, much much better than those you could find anywhere in North America. Beware of rip-off when you hire pedicab to tour Hutong. Make sure you negotiate the entire price, base fare plus tips, before starting the trip. Clock Tower and Drum Tower, a view point enroute, would cost 65RMB - according to the driver. We later found out that the actual price, clearly written outside the ticket booth in Chinese, was 35RMB. Our entry fare, 65RMB, was collected by the personnel inside the ticket booth, not the driver. It appeared to me that the ticket authority and the driver collaborated.

The hotel is well designed, room is very clean and comfortable with beautiful view of the park and the city, breakfast is simple but quality. The location is most convenient, the metro station next door can take you to any hot place you want to go, only 20 minutes to CBD, and City Centre of WangFujing. The staff there are friendly and helpful, most of all, the internet speed is very good and free! It is recommendable to seat in the yard for a drink with friends, beatiful view and relax.
