We enjoyed a comfortable stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Cortez. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms and public areas were clean and decorated. The beds and pillows were comfy. The internet was easy to access. The pool was cold for an indoor pool on a March evening. We enjoyed dinner at the Brewery. They have an excellent stout.

Stayed on top floor because rest our noisy, toliet running could not fix. When I told desk clerk about it, she said I should have called them and how would I like to pay for the room? OK, I guess I could have stayed up all night and watched someone work on my toliet or worse have to change rooms I(in the middle of the night)! So I paid my $* and went home mad. To the staff, they should check everything out as soon as the room was available, so this could be avoided, and then should have offered me anything for my inconvience instead of changing the subject.

We stayed on 1st floor unit. When the guys upstairs walked on their room, we heard every single step, the roof was noise like it was about to fall down.

our room was very comfortable. they brought extra pillows and blankets as we needed a rollaway, but we could not get one on our floor . I recommend this hix to anyone it is very clean and comfy

It was conveniently located. The hallway smelled of smoke although all the rooms were marked as no smoking. If you are in the area this is a convenient location, but on Sundays there are very few options open for meals.

The king room was very nice and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. The best part was the breakfast - lots of choices of both hot and cold foods.

We stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Express Cortez, but were very impressed. Check in was super easy and the front desk manager was friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well maintained and our room was super comfy, clean and well-appointed for a hotel in this class. We didn't get to indulge in the pool which looked nice and inviting, but we did sample the free breakfast which was re-stocked and maintained well. We got a great night's rest and were refreshed and ready for the rest of our journey! We'll absolutely stay there again!

Great complimentary breakfast buffet. Conveniently located 9 miles from Mesa Verde National Park. The main reason we chose to stay in Cortez, CO.

Got a free upgrade to a suite with a hot tub which was excellent. Room was big, comfortable, and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

Lots of Indian crafts and paintings from the area. Elevator too far from the room.

All the amenities were excellent. We felt right at home in a quiet clean environment. The pool was clean and comfortable.
