This no nonsense and no frills Holiday Inn is a good buy and well- run. The only problem is that it is in an isolated area of Memphis so if you are on foot it's better to stay downtown. Otherwise, no complaints.

We stayed 2 nights at this Holiday Inn. I was skeptical because of some reviews stating it was unsafe....even in the parking lot. I parked both nights right in front and it is in view of the lobby. I also could see my car from my room. I had no problem at all and felt safe at all times. It is a very short drive to town and close to the highway. The breakfast was very good with many choices. The staff at the breakfast both mornings were just fabulous. Very kind, courteous and helpful. Front desk staff very nice too. My one complaint is that our room was not cleaned the one day we were there. We came back after a long day seeing Memphis and our room had not been cleaned. Too late to complain. We just went to bed and then had to get extra towels the next morning before we showered. Fitness room was very nice. Overall I thought this was a very nice hotel.

This hotel is near the interstate that goes N/S across Memphis, easy access from/to airport and a short drive to both Graceland to the south and downtown Memphis to the east. Best of all, it is 2 blocks from the Medical Center line of the city trolley, and one can take the trolley to most attractions downtown. It was very convenient, we never took the car out except to go to Graceland. The staff was very courteous and friendly, the hot breakfast plentiful and varied (daily menus included eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage patties, biscuits...) plus a variety of continental options. The exercise room was adequate, the pool clean, and even though it was under construction, it didn't start until after 10am (and not on the weekend). We were pleased with the place and the value.

Hotels location was great, we came down for the River City Round Up,staff was very friendly, rooms were clean the air condition were not working well in our room so the staff moved us to another room the next day. I notice maintence staff cleaning all the AC THE NEXT DAY.

The Hotel was great,worth the price,I would recommend it to anyone. Can't think of a thing i didn't like! Clean,good service,good ,clean ,Breakfast unlike Nashville's hotel.The staff were very friendly,clean,and trained to be professional,yet still friendly.

The staff was very nice. We were there for a convention so the lines were a little long. The rooms were very clean and well taken care of. We were there for the Fed Ex Forum and it was very easy to find. We enjoyed it very much.

The bed was comfortable, the room overall was good andclerks was nice and helpful. It didn't have a microwave, fridge, no hot breakfast. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and I would stay there again myself. This hotel is nice.

We found it very close to downtown. We found good parking dowtown at Peabody Place underground parking safe & very well lit. Rooms were very clean, staff was very pleasant & helpful, first morning my car had bird crap on it really bad from parking under a tree, the staff actually washed it off with hose outside, very nice of them to do that. Continental breakfast was very good, a lot to choose from. We would stay again, felt very safe.

Each and every employee made us feel like we were very special people. They were all very happy people and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. I would highly recommend this hotel for tourists who are planning on enjoying Beale Street, the National Civil Rights Museum, Sun Studio, and Graceland. The sites were a close driving distance from the hotel. The staff at the hotel were very happy people and made us feel special.

This was a very nice hotel. The bed was comfortable, the staff was nice. The continental breakfast was good and their staff kept everything filled and fresh. I would definetly stay here again.

Convienent location to my business needs. Housekeeping was still cleaning the rooms at 4:00 in the afternoon. This hotel was nice and comfortable. Convienent to business locations. If you are more of a leisure traveler, there are hotels closer to tourist attractions (Beale street, etc.). However, this was a comfortable, safe, clean hotel.

This had to be one of the worse hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. I am typically a Marriott hotel person but didn't want to spend the money on a full Marriott hotel for a 1 night stay and I couldn't find any Courtyards or Residence Inns in this side of town. So, I was left to Holiday Inn Express. Not in the best location of town in the Medical Center. But the worse part is how bad the room was. Mildew on walls. Wallpaper patches in several areas. Water damage stains on the ceiling. The bathroom was so small that the toilet tank lid could not fit properly on the toilet tank. The only good thing about this hotel was that they had WIFI - free wireless from your room. I will never, ever stay at this hotel again. It is in horrible condition.

Convenient location, breakfast early and adequate, and fitness center excellent. Smelled of stale cigarette smoke in the hallway. Excellent location. Liked the early and adequate breakfast. Quiet. Could not get heater to work however, but probably an easy fix. Comfortable climate and fitness center EXCELLENT especially for this size hotel. Adequate.

This was my first stay at a Holiday Inn and I will be returning. They sold out of double beds, so were given a king bed with a sleeper sofa and $* off. Like the convenient soda machine and ice maker on the floor. The room and bathroom were very nice, clean and comfrontable. Will be staying there again in 3 weeks. A good hotel for someone whose wants to stay in downtown Memphis without the downtown Memphis price!

It is very clean. Hygiene is essential to comfort. The air conditioner-heater dries the air too much. This is a great and affordable hotel for business in Memphis. The customer service is second to none.

The room was spacious, and the bathroom was very nice. The shower in particular was excellent. My only minor quibble is that it looks like someone forgot to dust above one of the cabinets, but other than that the room was great. The continental breakfast was also exceptional. It was easy to get to from the major interstates and reasonably close to the downtown attractions. I would have no reservations about staying here again.

"Good if you're visiting the medical facilities close by, otherwise opt for the Comfort Inn on Front Street for affordability and location. To get to the trolley from here you have to walk about 5 blocks in a not-so-desirable area. Plus the closest trolly line there takes forever. I went to Beale for dinner but took a cab back... really not a place you want to be walking at night. Otherwise, rooms were clean and staff friendly/helpful but the Wi-Fi was horrible and kept cutting out. Also, no place to eat at the hotel or within walking distance. Cab to downtown however is only $* each way."
