the hotel was very affordable and nice. we were traveling last minute for a funeral over a holiday weekend. the location was good for our purposes. the staff was very friendly -- even offered directions to a fireworks show since we arrived on the 4th of july. room was fine. hotel was quiet. breakfast was good. parking was no problem at all. close to lots of amenities that a traveller might need.

We stayed here for three nights during a Thanksgiving visit to family, who live nearby. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room (in back of motel) was pleasantly quiet and adequately clean. The rate was pretty good, comparatively, thanks to the MasterCard bonus that was offered online. On the downside, I had to plug something into an outlet behind a bed and when I moved the bed it was pretty grungy in that area. It was obvious housecleaning never vacuumed or cleaned under the bed -- there was lots of dust and old tissues all over the floor. The room size was surprisingly small and, in particular, narrow -- barely enough space to walk between the bed and the furniture opposite it. Still it was adequate for our needs. After reading about Holiday Inn Express's new breakfast nook, my hopes were a little higher than what was provided. Scrambled eggs were available every day and sometimes there was bacon or cheese omelets, plus the usual cold cereal, fruit, toast/muffins, etc. I was hoping there would be something like a make your own waffle bar, like LaQuinta provides. Quality at HI was okay, not great, but at least it saved us from buying breakfast and saved time. The location was terrific for our needs. On my scale of evaluating lodging my criticisms of this place are pretty minor and overall we were satisfied. We will probably stay here again.

The hotel was really clean and in a great area, within two steps of Maccaroni Grill and halfway between the Woodbury Common Outlets and NYC. The beds were really comfortable and the room well furnished. I've never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express but I definitely will again.

The room was very clean and everything worked correctly. They didn't help me when I needed help. During my stay at this hotel on my first night of stay around 10 p.m. I heard yelling and continuous banging. After around 30 mins I called the front desk so that they could do something about it. They told me a large church group was staying there. I told them that they were banging there doors and that I couldn't sleep. They did nothing! they didn't even say they would try. Just to deal with it. I was a paying customer. They didn't treat me well. Then on the day I checked out. There were tons of these church group of people in the lobby. I couldn't even walk through! I m glad I never went to the continental breakfast cause I wouldn't have found any food or a seat! it was atrocious.

Spent 4 nights there. Outstanding value in the area. Clean, new beds & quite. The best thing was the staff. I can't remember in the 40 years I have been in motels, a staff as hospitable as this one. Worth every dime we paid

this is a wonderful place, with great accomodations and friendly staff. the only complaint i have is the night staff told us we were within walking distance of the train or bus. that would have been a very long walk. other than that, we will definitely stay here again and again. the breakfast was very nice also, with a wide selection of foods.

As one would expect--this hotel is in a heavily populated area..nice room but no hot tub and no pool--most don't have these, but after driving 1300 miles I was ready to get soem stress out..maybe next time. close to highwaysand all so

Nice place and nice location, clean and easy to find. You could not get to hotel in west bound lane, had to drive and get on off ramp to get back. Very nice and I had a good time here. Would stay again, little pricey for location but all in all it was what I expected.

I was very satisfied with this hotel, especially for the price. Room was modern & clean. Bed comfortable. Excellent continental breakfast (bagels, cereal, muffins, etc.) in very nice breakfast room. Felt safe staying alone. Would definitely stay there again & highly recommend to others!

The Holiday Inn Express Ramsey was conveniently located on Route 17 North, with easy access to ramps to travel on Route 17 South. The room was upscale and comfortable, and shower heads were amazing, and the bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast was above average and attention was paid to presentation and cleanliness. On top of this, I had access to their computer and printer in their guest business area. The hotel seemed to be popular among business and personal travelers.

The only thing I liked about this hotel? I am sorry there is nothing I liked about it... I didn't like nothing, it was a "minus 2 star hotel". Read below. Here is a list of why this hotel is thumbs down: Hotel Employee was on the phone while I checked in. I covered my mouth while walking in the hall way (it was not clean air). The room was very small. Bed was not made right. Trash can was not emptied. No internet connection (nothing what so ever). I could hear people talking (clearly, every word like they were in my room) from the next door. I was woken up 3:00 am from the noise on the 3rd floor (I was on the 2nd floor). Besides I was woken up already on 6:30 am when the construction people arrived outside. How much worse could this be. I WILL NOT USE A WELLESLEY INN AGAIN.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express after researching on line for the best bang for our buck. It certainly was. Very friendly, accomodating and clean. The rooms are small but we really did not need much room. We were there for a wedding in Rivervale and needed a comfortable place to stay that was secure. The breakfast buffet was an extra bonus and very much appreciated, although the coffee was very weak. We are visiting again for another wedding and I would definately stay here and recommend it to all who need a place to stay. In fact the brides Mom dropped off a welcome bag and another friend stopped to pick us up and both like our place better that several other places that people were staying in.

The Holiday Inn Express was very comfortable. However the room was a bit small for all the furniture. But it was clean and fresh. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The price per night including breakfast was a great deal.

Nice staff, clean room, nice and comfortable bed, spacious and comfortable room. Breakfast ends at 9am. Nice and freindly satff, nice bedroom, clean and nice furniture. Convenient at Route 17.
