The breakfast was decent. The blankets on the end of the bed were digesting. They were very dirty. The hotel was fine. The staff was very friendly, and the rooms were OK. It was very close to things to do. The only thing I had a problem with was the blue blankets that are at the end of the bed. I unfolded one to use, and it was disgusting! It had crusty food stains ( I hope it was food) all over it. The coffee maker was dirty too. Everything else was fine.

Room was clean & neat. Bed was a bit too firm as well as pillows. Could have been more comfortable. Overall, I was pretty happy with my stay. There were very few things about it that I did not like. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Had the opportunity to stay at this bargain hotel. It looks relatively new. Don't know if it was a new establishment or renovated, but it was nice inside and out. The contemporary feel of the entire hotel was well done and was clean. The continental breakfast was one of the best I've had in recent memory. The service was both courteous and prompt. I had to switch a room because the first room's sink and bathtub was slow to drain. They switched me to a new room no problem. Would recommend this place as it was pretty close to everything in town.

Clean, well lit. No ashtrays in a smoking room and too little coffee provided. Hotel was nice, good location, nice service. However we were not oriented as to the where of the hotel, where the pool was etc. Other wise, it was pleasant.

Well stocked room, nice amenities and convenient location. We wished the pool was open, and didn't appreciate the racier businesses nearby.

Large Rooms. Under construction-very dirty. Once the construction is done, it may be better, but even in spite of that it was still certainly not the best hotel I have stayed in.

I was in Macon for a convention. The "official" hotel was full, so I had to stay nearby. The Holiday Inn Express was a lucky find! Located right on I-75, it was easy to find. It was close enought to where I had to be for convenience, yet gave me just enough distance to "get away" when the business was concluded. The room was spacious, well appointed, with possibly the most confortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. The bathroom was clean, large, and plenty of towels. Most importantly, everything worked, from the TV and radio to the hot water. I understand the hotel was fairly full, but it was quiet. The staff I dealt with were pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable of the area and surrounding restaurants, attractions, and seemed genuinely eager to please. I thoroughly enjoyed my two-night stay. In fact, as I will be attending similar conferences in Macon, this Holiday Inn Express is definitely be my "hotel of choice."

Nice breakfast bar. When the remodeling is complete, and when the front desk staff is trained to be more pleasant, it will be a better hotel. The location isn't great -- it's the middle of a parking lot literally, no landscaping to soften the appearance.

"Spent one night here w/my family on the way home from Florida vacation. This is an awesome hotel. Just picked it out because of Holiday Inn Express good name. Rooms are very spacious, and extremely clean. Staff was great, friendly and knoledgable of the area. Received 10% discount @ Applebees w/room key. Breakfast is fabulous. We could not have picked a better place to rest for the night. Would definately stay there again!"
