Everything was exactly as described on Priceline. Great experience. Would have liked an on premise restaurant. I enjoyed my stay and purchased an additional night.

We wanted to stay at this hotel for its indoor pool in December. It was great and warm. This hotel also has a great fitness room and sauna. Had a very nice time with other guests and members of the fitness club that uses the pool. We were treated very well. Head of housekeeping, made our stay most comfortable. She gave us extra blankets when we asked. She is an exceptionally nice/pleasant person and great asset to hotel. Unfortunately the bed was "hard as a rock." Our king room had a coffeemaker, MW, and frig-everything worked just fine. Easy on/off on 495 Long Island Expressway.

The Holiday Inn Hotel in Hauupauge was an excellenct choice and I would definitly return, it was actually my second stay there. I would rate it at least 3*. The hotel was very clean, the rooms large and comfortable, the beds very comfortable, up todate bathrooms, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. There was no noise from the Expressway. I am very picky when it comes to hotels and this was when of the nicer ones I have stayed at.

Customer service. Location. Helpful front desk and spacious, comfortable and quiet rooms.

On checking in, I attempted to use the room telephone to contact my destination. The outside line was disabled, and the buttons used to call the desk didn't work, so I walked back to the front desk to report the problem. "It's taken care of," said the clerk, as she hung up after speaking to one of the staff. But it wasn't, and again I had to walk back down to the front desk to tell her. Ninety minutes later, after several visits from a puzzled hotel staffer who kept trying the phone, the staffer presented me with two key cards for a different room, down the hall, where, he assured me, the telephone worked. But the key cards didn't. Went back to the desk for the correct keys. When, on entering the new room and finding the outside telephone line disabled, this time I could call the front desk and ask them to enable the line. The room was quiet and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the stay was uneventful thereafter.

Beware of this place the staff is God Awful and they will do nothing besides check you in. We had our wedding and were directed to the hotel by our catering hall (who I chose not to blame because they did a terrific job with everything else). To start the evening of the rehearsal dinner they did not give any of our guests their out of town bags as they checked in. The itinerary and directions were in the bags so we spent most of the day/evening taking phone calls of where to be when and how to get there, as if we did not have enough to do. Part of the original deal was to have a suite comped for us the night before and of the wedding. They did not have the room available and charged (Yes it was suppose to be Comped) me for the lesser room which they promised us for that evening. Next on the day of the wedding they assured us that they would move our bags to the bridal suite, well sure enough at 2 pm they still had not moved anything. They also where suppose to bring our cooler for the after party down to the conference room and ice it down but as you may expect it never happened. Long story short me and my grooms men where in tuxedos icing down a cooler and moving all of the stuff to the conference room. As if they had not dropped the ball already when we arrived at the hotel after the wedding we learned that they had given away the rooms for two members of our bridal party. We had reservations but they decided that they could give these rooms away since they had not checked in yet. We ended up resolving this by having them stay in other friends rooms but we had addressed this with M F since we had read it in previous post to be a problem. To compensate us for all of these hassles they offered us a free night in the bridal suite, as if I want to spend another night in this hotel. Bottom Line is M F the sale manager still has not returned my phone calls. WHATEVER YOU DO NOT USE THIS HOTEL IF YOU EXPECT ANYTHING FROM THE STAFF. They will promise you the world and deli

I stayed here for a business visit. The hotel was convient to get to and find. It was also very clean. The free breakfast was good, the breakfast room was large enough to be comfortable. There are plenty of nice resturants nearby. I would stay there again.

Convenient. Noisy -very close to expressway, windows didn't keep noise out. The hotel was nice. The parking lot - and a note on the bed in the room - said to beware of leaving valuables in the car as they have had break ins. The free breakfast buffet consisted of everything in packages: even the bagels and muffins were something you would get from a convenience store. Not a pleasant breakfast - not even a loaf of bread to toast! My room was on the side closest to the expressway and the noise of the road kept waking me up all night. Turning on the fan drowned out the vehicle noise but really just replaced it with the loud drone of the fan. Fine to stay for a night but don't count on a quiet night's rest.

Had to go to Long Island for a wedding. Hotel is convenient in the sense that it is right alongside the Long Island Expressway, but there's NOTHING around the hotel in the way of restaurants. And the hotel doesn't really have a restaurant - although the breakfast in the lobby in the morning was better than I expected - pretty good actually. Staff was helpful. Room was decent. If you have to be in this area and don't want to drive somewhere, good luck finding something to eat or some place to have a few beers, though.

I would not recomment this hotel. The room was not clean. When I went in there were 2 cups full of water in the bathroom, so I'm not sure if it was cleaned or not b4 I got there. Also the blankets on the bed were dirty, looked like dried bodily fluids of some kind. Around 10pm there was some sort of domestic violence going on 3 rooms away from me...the EMS and police were there, the woman was beat pretty badly...very scary as I was staying there alone. The pool is a small square in the basement. The only good thing were the pillows. Very disappointing for the money that I had to pay!!

The pool was warm and the hotel was clean. Breakfast ran out of food, too short. Not enough extra blankets and towels for guests. Hotel was good for the price, clean, friendly. Breakfast buffet closed early and there was not enough food for all the guests. Ran out each day. Also, I requested extra blankets and towels from the front desk but was told that they did not have anymore. Offered sheets and pool towels. I would stay here again.

The cleaning staff uses perfume sprays as part of their cleaning routine, leaving a scent that just wreaks havoc on allergies. Calls to the front desk were met with smug indifference - essentially not my problem that you have a problem. The front desk manager couldn't have been older than 18 - no wonder he had the attitude of a snot-nosed teen that couldn't be bothered with a customer problem.

Proximity to child's college. Breakfast not as good a quality as on previous visits. Personnel staff at front desk rude an unhelpful. Was awakened by housekeeping's attempt to enter my room at 8am despite do not disturb sign. No apology offered from staff/management. Would probably choose to stay at the Sheraton or another Holiday Inn in the vicinity due to the downgrade in this hotel's quality & staff.

Check in/check out handled professionally. Room comfortable. Dirty washcloth from former occupant left on shower rod. Upsetting. Breakfast room well staffed on Fri. AM but overcrowded/undertended on Sat.AM.

Very friendly. Highly recommend andnice play to stay. Pool is clean, and work out room is nice.

No breakfast included, Wi-Fi very expensive (not included) no fridge in room, and no microwave in room. I would not recommend this room for a leisure travel, it leans very much towards people with money to burn. Nothing was included. We stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in the same area and was much happier.

Unable to get proper keys forour room.

I liked the pool and the way the front outside of the hotel looked like. I didnt like the maid staff. We were out for like 2 hours and when we came back they wanted to clean but we said no because we were back. Its a good hotel for a couple nights, but not more than that.
