Description:
Welcome to the new Holiday Inn Express ? Hocking Hills in Logan Ohio. Logan is the Gateway to Ohio?s Scenic Wonderland also referred to as the ?Land of Ahhhs?. You can wander along a lush woodland trail, or hike a craggy cave, or just relax near a crystal clear waterfall. Logan also offers several opportunities to find that special treasure you have been searching for at one of our antique shops. The Hocking Hills is an area of some 11,000 square miles, southeast of Columbus, Ohio. This is hilly terrain, mostly forest and farms, but also offers many scenic and natural points of interest. For many, the heart of the Hocking Hills is Logan, which is home the Hocking Hills State Park. Hocking Hills State Park is located about 10 minutes from Logan and is comprised of seven different areas of Southern Ohio?s most gorgeous country. All the parks are open from dawn to dusk at no cost for admission. The parks provide 2,300 acres of hiking, waterfalls, caves, rock formations and unusual natural beauty. In addition, 9,000 acres of State Forest surround the parks and are also available for hiking and exploring. The Holiday Inn Express ? Hocking Hills is conveniently located off Highway 33 at the Logan / Bremen exit. It has easy access to all the state parks, golf courses, canoe liveries, and any other local attractions. The staff and the town of Logan hope to see you soon.

We recently stayed at this Holiday Inn Express in a vacation outing to Hocking Hills, OH. We were greeted by a very nice young lady at the front desk with yummy cookies and bottled water. The hotel also had a nice pool/spa area area. We enjoyed Hocking Hills very much especially the Canopy Zip line tours. We would definitely stay at this hotel again and have recommeded it to friends.

Great location - right by Lake Logan and the breakfast is good.

Nice big rooms. They did not have a liquor license, so beverages were not allowed outside of our room. The pool did not appear to be kept up. The water looked dirty. There was a slight smell of cigarette smoke when we got off the elevator on the third floor, but the smell was not in our room. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Room was very nice, exceeded expectations. Hot breakfast was excellent. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Locals who know where to eat! Rooms were very clean, well stocked. Climate controls were very good. Hot tub was very pleasant. Pool had some gravel on the bottom but I couldn't tell that it came from the pool area, more like someone brought it in with them. Breakfast was very nice but the breakfast room was rather small considering the crowd that came down for it. Overall I would highly recommend staying at this location.

Clean and comfortable with a very nice complimentary breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel met our expectations. The AC was a bit noisy, but not bothersome. Very nice hotel. Clean, comfortable, nice helpful staff, and good breakfast bar.

Clean and nice pillows and sheets/towels. Lots of kids at the time I stayed at youth group or basketball tournament so it was very noisy. Very easy to find good restaurant across the street (we walked). Nice sheets and pillows. My daughter brought her laptop and there was free WiFi.

Good continental breakfast. Children running and screaming at all hours down the halls. Very nice place to stay as long as there are parents who can control their children and keep them from screaming while people are trying to sleep.

Nice swimming pool. Water leaking from the tub faucet. Had to close door to bathroom to sleep. Very Clean. Nice employees. Swimming pool needed cleaning.

Very clean. I did not care for smelling cigarette smoke in bathroom. I did not appreciate smelling cigarette smoke every time the bathroom fan was on. It is not controlled inside room. I asked the desk about it and the lady said it is a problem with 2nd floor with the smoking floor above. The manager lied to me when she said it was the 1st she has ever heard the problem. I am allergic to smoke and was put in a non smoking room. If you have a similar problem book only on 1st floor and hope for the best. The bathroom vents mix all bathroom air smoking and nonsmoking. This is a very bad HVAC idea for a motel. I never want to stay there again. I am in hotels 50+ days/year.

I loved the decor, the area, the continental breakfast, and the hot tub. I did not like the rowdiness of the children in the pool area. This is a great get away hotel with a great breakfast bar. It is in a great location and has a great restaurant close by (Millstone BBQ). It met all of our expectations.

It was clean and updated. The mattress was comfortable. It was what I expected. I've stayed there before. The staff was friendly. It was convenient for my needs and it was clean.

Close to state park. Small breakfast buffet. We rented two rooms at this hotel last weekend. The king size room was non-smoking and very comfortable. The other room was two queen beds in a smoking room. The smell was bad, but the room was nice. We bought a glade oil plug-in, and that fixed it! Our stay was great, and the staff was really nice.
