Actually have stayed MANY times at this property, as mother lives in Lincoln (in a nursing home) and sister has a small house in Lincoln--no room for relatives. We find the staff very friendly and competent, and rooms are always quite clean. Breakfast is good and parking convenient. Takes pets but puts you in a smoking room because pets might cause allergic reactions. I do think my pet is less destructive than MOST children, but I might feel differently if I had any children.

The hotel was nice and quiet. A little town but everything you would need right down the road. The kids liked the cookies at the front desk! And the breakfast was good.

Staff was friendly. Not worth the priceat all- I can stay near Chicago for half this price - in a luxury hotel! Ridiculously priced for Lincoln and not willing to negotiate at all!

I'm a NON-SMOKER. I booked a non smoking room for 3 days. 1 person 1 small dog. I chose this hotel as they accepted pets as it says on their web site. When I arrived after driving 12 hours I was informed I would have to change from a non-smoking to a smoking room as they had put me in a non-smoking room. (which I requested) Nothing was mentioned on their web site nor was anything mentioned when i confimed my reservation about pets had to be in smoking rooms . I asked if I could put an extra deposite on the room, I would keep my pet kenneled, and with me at all times even when I was out of the room during the day. I was told no to all requests. I accepted the room. The room was very clean exept that it REEKED of cig smoke. Even my dog didn't want to go in. There were cig burns up and down the bath tube. I guess it is acceptable behavior to burn the furnishings but unacceptalbe to have a kenneled pet hat wouldn't burn the furnishings.ON THE POSITIVE.They did offer spray of which did little to no good. I emptied a can the first night. They did call me by my first name every time they saw me. The bed was VERY comfy. The breakfast was good and slightly different each morning. The walls are rather thin. It was very easy to hear conversations from the hall and from the rooms on either side of mine.

The Holiday Inn Express in Lincoln Illinois provided a very comfortable stay for our 6-day vacation. The room was more spacious than the other motels we stayed in on this trip, and we felt it was a good value for the price. The breakfast was even better than when we used this motel in the past. All in all we felt this was a good experience.

Free breakfast was one of the best I've had. Room wasclean. Room above was noisy. Bathroom was small. Great value for money, convenient access from interstate. Clean.

This was a nice hotel! The price was very good. The rooms had double queen beds. Very nice indoor pool & spa. The sauna was closed.The people we all nice & baked fresh cookies. Nice breakfast

Cleanliness, friendly staff, nice breakfast. Arrangement of bathroom. Nice large room, free internet worked well. Clean room, very friendly and helpful staff. Hot breakfast. Good room amenities.
