Easy to get to and nice size parking and nice rooms.

The room smelled bad...otherwise average hotel...I hoped for better

We were very disappointed in our stay. Obviously remodeled to try to conform to the look of Holiday Inn Express, with new bedding and continental breakfast in lobby. However, hallways dimly lit, room had distinctive old and musty odor, beds were older and not comfortable. Most upsetting was the gray bathtub, rusty bathroom fixtures, stained light switch plates, and mold on ceiling. We arrived very late or probably would have tried to change hotels.

The quality of the room I stayed in. It made for a great value. Clean rooms, super staff, excellent location on the shores of the Mississippi River. It was a great value for what my stay cost.

Nice stay. Pool Excellent. Whirpool good, but strange access to get too. Pool towels in exercise rm, need door key to get them.Recommend that you get pool towels prior to going in the pool area.My stay was nice, quiet, relaxing. Staff people were good.Breakfast looked good, I almost stayed to have some, I just got some milk and juice and left though.

The hospitality of the staff was outstanding! The different settings where to work during the stay. Lobby, dining area, poolside, and room. Hot tub odors. Repeated difficulty connecting a couple days, though staff dealt with it and got it going. Eggs were so-so at best sometimes. This hotel served us well. The staff was extremely accommodating and very friendly. There was a sufficient variety of food morning after morning. The exercise room though small was sufficient for me. I had my teen daughter with so she was also able to enjoy some pool time with friends. The hotel was very peaceful and quiet, due to being off-season. If you need a place to retreat, this is one place that will offer much without having to leave for every little thing! Food, gas, and a mall right there!

We really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. The staff was happy to answer questions about the area, help us with anything we needed. The room the hotel were beautiful. I will definatley stay there again.

Hot tub. I got stuck in the elevator. Upon arrival at the hotel we were greeted fine and checked in with no problem. When we got to the room it was okay, nothing to write about. The pool was dirty, and they have hide-a-way sofas for the second bed with no pillow in the room for it so you must go down to the desk to get some. So I did then on my way back up to my room I get stuck in the elevator, I am told that it happens a lot.

After several weeks of uneven experiences, this was wonderful! Staff was great, room (furnishings, space, lighting, cleanliness, internet connection) was great, even plenty of light in the larger-than-usual bathroom for makeup! Quiet. Luggage truck was great. Well-lit parking lot, central location. They even gave me a lower rate than I qualified for. Have def/ paid more and gotten a lot less. Even thought about staying in town an extra day just to stay here. Soooo glad I happened to pick this place instead of the others in town.

Easy check-in and check-out. The hotel usually upgrades the room w/out asking. Confusion with the hotel bill. I do not usully get a bill but one was slipped under my door by mistake. Hotel was very clean. The room was clean and ready to occupy. The hotel staff was friendly. The breakfast area was clean and the food was fresh.

Very nice on the inside. Not very appealing from the outside. No curb appeal.

The view of the TeePee Tavern. Bathroom and breakfast were disappointing.

Nice Continental breakfast buffet, staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was clean, the room was good-sized, and the breakfast was tasty. The Jacuzzi did not have enough chlorine and did not look as clean as I like. This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was only a 2-star so I was not expecting much but it was clean and it had a nice pool and Jacuzzi.

The room was nice. Had trouble logging on to the wireless internet. Located in Downtown Keokuk. The staff was friendly and helpful recommending local dining. The hotel did not show up on my GPS unit but the staff guided me in on the phone.

Sofa in King rooms. Beds uncomfortable. Okay, I will try to be objective as possible here; I usually stay in Hyatt's. So, the king rooms are pretty large. Sofa in king rooms a plus. Bed was pretty uncomfortable. Nothing really upgraded as far as fixtures, amenities, etc. Staff pretty friendly. This is probably the best hotel in the area, but do not expect anything above your typical 2-star. No dining nearby or on site.

Had extended continental breakfast. Really too close to the main thoroughfare to be quiet. Overall I wouldn't recommend this hotel, certainly not without trying the other hotels in town first like Fairfield Inn and Comfort Inn and Suites. The first room we checked in to smell atrocious. Think man who hadn't showered in many days. It was so overwhelming we had to change rooms. The hotel pool, even though indoor, was freezing. I could cope with that if I was lap swimming, but they have a rope across the middle of the pool which discourages doing so. The Jacuzzi buttons were broken so we had to ask the front desk for assistance in getting it started. And all rooms were quite noisy as it is located directly on the busiest road in town. The wireless internet was not working so we had to use the computer in the lobby, which is right at the front desk. (No chairs to sit on, I suppose they don't want you there too long.) The continental breakfast was acceptable with hot items, but the scrambled eggs seemed like something that astronauts would get out of a foil pouch and rehydrate. This seemed to be one of the poorer Holiday Inn Expresses and I wouldn't stay here again unless the other hotels in town were booked solid.

Very friendly front desk staff- great breakfast. Room had a stale Body Odor smell. Nice hotel in Downtown, amid quaint historic shopping district- fabulous continental hot & cold breakfast- comfy beds and soft new linens- refrig in room.

The facilities were well kept up. Only one elevator for the whole hotel. Nice rooms with newer bedding and towels. Good breakfast, nice pool though not ideal for young children because of its depth.

Continental breakfast. Pool hours. Smoking rooms. The location was convenient although it was fairly noisy as it is right on the main street. They did not accommodate us in nonsmoking rooms which is a problem for us and the staff was not helpful in trying to solve the problem. The pool hours are a little short.
