There seem to be slim pickings around Jamestown so we decided that the Holiday Inn Express was our best option. We were disappointed because we ended up in a smoking room. It permeated our clothing. The set up of the room was nice and the convenience of high speed internet was also a plus. The room was horribly dirty but it wasn't overly clean, either. The shower curtain had black, dirty hand marks on it. The bathroom didn't seem like it had been given the attention to detail it needed. Overall, I'd recommend it. It's a newer hotel in that area and the beds were quite comfortable. The breakfast was good.

My wife and I stayed here during the Jamestown College Homecomming. We both went to College in Jamestown and have been to a few hotel parties in this city, but none at the Holiday Inn, we weren't sure if it was going to be just another run-down hotel like the others in Jamestown, ND. To our suprise it was a very clean, and quiet Hotel, we didn't smell any smoke which was suprising to us because of the college parties we had been to at other hotels. We were treated as welcomed guests, and not as an inconvenience to the desk clerk. The room was very quiet, and we both got a great sleep. Believe me when I say that this place is the best you will find in Jamestown...sure you can spend less money at some of the other cheaper places, but you will run into drunk, obnoxious college students who are only there for a party. Best in Jamestown

The continental breakfast was excellent, the eggs and bacon were fresh and hot. The king sized room could use more lighting and another chair. The Holiday Inn Express in Jamestown provides all the necessities for a pleasant stay - well-appointed rooms, friendly staff, and a terrific breakfast bar - all at a reasonable rate.

The beds were very comfortable. The alarm woke us up 12 times during Thunderstorm.
