We had a great time during our stay in Jacksonville Beach. The hotel was in tip top shape and the staff was always helpful and friendly. We didn't spend much time in the room during the day as we were enjoying the beach! But when we did come back to the room the A/C cooled us off and the comfy bed helped us to relax which was great since the weather was upper 90's and high humidity.. normal Florida weather I guess! We did swim in the pool one night and the water was perfect. Our highlight was watching the 4th of July fireworks from the pier while standing on the beach. We enjoyed breakfasts of eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, juice, etc.. It always hit the spot after a good nights rest. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the beach, but they also offer a free shuttle that runs on demand as long as a driver is available. We did have a rental car, but took advantage of the shuttle to avoid needing to find a parking spot. I can't knock the hotel for not being right on the beach because they do the best they can to accommodate getting you there! If we ever head to Jacksonville Beach again this Holiday Inn Express will be at the top of our list.

Brand new facilities, breakfast bar was excellent. Located right next to the main road. This is a brand new hotel, so the rooms and facilities were very nice. The room I stayed in did not have a bath tub, but the walk in shower was spacious and made up for not having a regular tub. The king sized bed was soft, and the room had a digital thermostat to make setting the perfect room temp easy. As well as a small safe, fridge, and microwave. Of course it had an LCD TV, everything one can expect from a modern hotel.

Very clean - friendly staff - everything seemed to be in good working order. This was a terrific find! The hotel is less than a year old - very clean with comfy beds and nice furnishings. Ample breakfast provided.

Rooms were updated and modern. Hotel is on fairly busy road. Liked the price and location since we needed something fairly close to the Mayo Clinic.

Room arrangement, and bed setup. Elevator security? Very good for this location of Jacksonville. I would stay again.

Hotel is new. 2 mos. old. Free shuttle service until 10pm. No complaints. New hotel. Latest appliances, LCD, Ipod, Iphone dock, Clean rooms. Pool, fitness room. Breakfast included. $30-60 cheaper if you don't mind not being on beach.
