We were in town for a family reunion. It was great to be able to get away from the HEAT and the hustle of relatives to the quiet, COOL hotel room. We forgot a few personal items and were graciously offered replacements. The hotel was busy, but we would never have known. The business room with internet access was great for checking in at home.

I loved the bed and bed linens; most comfortable sleep I ever had in a hotel. The breakfast, main entry was not changed from day to day. I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. I have stayed in 5 star hotels in Europe and even a castle in Scotland, but I never experienced the level of comfort than in this room.

We were in El Campo for a wedding. By chance, we stayed at the Wharton Holiday Inn. What a wonderful surprise to find this marvelous inn on Hwy 59. The accommodations were superb, equivalent to any big city. We hope to return someday soon.

Upon check-in,..I didn't care for the general persona of the desk attendant. Nothing serious,..he just seemed somewhat cold. Otherwise,...the room was fabulous. I was alone here on business. The rates are somewhat pricey for an ""Express"" hotel,...but I felt worth the extra coin.Bed was inviting,..room was stylish and modern with any comfort you could need.

We travel down to Wharton quite often and I just love staying at this Holiday Inn. No matter what the type of room we get (double / king / executive king / king / jacuzzi) we have always enjoyed our stayes. The staff is always friendly and very helpful when asked a question.
