There are a fair number of hotel choices in Warsaw, impressively, but I'm sad to say that the Holiday Inn Express (HIE) is not all that great. The exterior of the hotel is nice and feels new, as does the lobby and dining area. But the rooms are dated; the furniture feels very mid-90s, the carpet is sad, and it just feels like a standard hotel from 10 years ago. We did like the bed's comfort as well as the lovely shower head - and the room had a mini-fridge and microwave, a bonus. Free wifi is also nice and the speed was totally respectable, unlike many hotels I've stayed at. Housekeeping was not great. We had used our coffee maker for hot water for tea, and although housekeeping came through they did not clean the coffee maker nor did we get a replenishment of tea and hot beverage cups. We were nearly out of tissues, as well, and those were not replaced. And I trust it's not too much to ask for a folded point at the end of the toilet paper roll, is it? The complimentary breakfast was a total downer. Cold sausage, cold eggs, cold cold cold, and pretty typical (read: not good) hotel coffee. The staff was nice enough to reheat all of those items when I complained, but this happened both days we stayed. Unfortunate. All told, I think you can find a better value elsewhere.

The room was larger than expected. There were too many kids running the halls at night. We were surprised to have a room with sofa bed and mini kitchen area. The hotel only had a 2 star rating but we would have given it a 3 star.

The room was clean for the first 3 days, then the fourth day the room did not get cleaned at all.... the reason I was given was too many guests and lack of employees (2 called in sick) could not get all the rooms done. Part of the rooms got cleaned as I saw the cleaning carts in the hall as I left that morning to go out for the day, I was told 29 rooms did not get cleaned by an employee,I have a feeling the only rooms that got cleaned were the ones where the guest checked out.

Beds were comfortable. Walls were thin and could hear neighbors.large space open at bottom of door to hear hall noise.

This hotel was very near the interstate, near a great restaurant, had friendly staff, and had a nice pool. The only issue we had was that there were many children--perhaps on a school trip--running about the halls. This Holiday Inn Express is a nice quiet, comfortable and clean hotel with immediate access to US 30. The staff is efficient and friendly. There is a great Mexican restaurant next-door and the hotel pool is lovely. The breakfast was also outstanding during our stay.

Very clean, nice staff. Billing was different then the web site. Could have been charged less if I went through the hotel. They charged me 81.50 a night vs. the 95, and didn't get the difference back.
