The Holiday Inn Express was very nice. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Located right across the street from Universal, makes it an ideal location for the person who doesn't like to drive after a long day of fun.

Everything was very clean & comfy. Holding $20 on my Visa card at sign in. Excellent short stay hotel with comfy beds, very clean rooms & a great hot breakfast bar in am.

Close to Universal and a reasonable price. Room clean and adequate. Two complaints/concerns: no more coffee in the lobby except at breakfast and on both days the maid wanted to get into our room waaaay too early, around 8:30-9:00 am both mornings. Otherwise I would recommend this hotel.

Great location, friendly and efficient staff, good breakfast options. TV in room did not work when we arrived. Sent staff up in minutes to work on it then replace it. When that did not work they gave us a different room! Good job!

Very nice location, staff, and room. The hotel was great. Convenient to everything. the staff was very nice and very helpful. The only thing I didn't like was the noise level in the hallway. After 11, we had some very loud people carrying on. Security was very good and came right away.

You get what you pay for but not in the negative sense. The hotel itself is nothing "special" it's just a hotel, but the rooms are clean, staff is friendly and the continental breakfast was better then expected. The room quality was great for the price paid. VERY clean and the beds were comfy. The hotel location was great. Centally located to all parks and the activities we participated in. VERY close to Wet & Wild and Universal. The ticket booking for the parks in the lobby was a nice convenience. Although we didn't take advantage of the Universal Studios/Wet & Wild Courtesy Shuttle, I was impressed the option was available. The pool was minimal. It simply fulfilled the "requirement" of having a pool at the hotel. But with Wet & Wild only a couple minutes away, the pool didn't matter for our visit. The Staff was friendly and very accommodating to our requests. We arrived on a red eye flight from the west coast and were looking forward to taking a nap. They accommodated an extremely early check-in with pleasure. Very nice. We'd stay again no questions asked.

Our vacation was pretty busy so we really didn't get to spend a lot of time in our hotel. However, the time that we were there was very enjoyable. All of the staff members were really friendly and helpful. My dad and I also enjoyed the breakfast that the hotel served everyday. All of the food was fresh and the staff was sure to keep up on everything. If we travel to Orlando again, this hotel will definitely be our first choice to stay in.

It had a bed to sleep in. Security is worthless they don't accurately do their jobs. Hotel was close to Universal Studios and wet n wild water park but I would never stay here again. My trucks front passenger window was busted out and someone stole my GPS while it was parked in the parking lot. Security didn't catch a thing. After this happened they were seen in the parking lot more. I couldn't rest well fearing someone would get into my vehicle again.

Nice hotel. Close to everything and location is quiet. Rooms are cozy and nicely decorated - good sized walk in shower. Staff was very friendly. However, safe deposit boxes were small - only big enough to hold a wallet. Door to pool was right beside elevator - elevator floor was always wet. No microwaves - not even in breakfast area.

I liked this hotel,it was clean and the staff were helpful and polite,my only slight downside was that as far as I know they only served breakfast, but from what I saw the breakfast options looked good

The location was perfect. The room had a bad odor and the shower was clogged. The hotel was in a great location for easy access to theme parks and shopping. The staff was very helpful and eager to please. The room was less expensive then a Motel 6 or Days Inn and the quality of the hotel was far better. The only down side was that there was no tub only a stand up shower which flooded because the drain was clogged and could not be unclogged.

I stayed here overnight on business. The room was smaller than most hotels but certainly sufficient for 1-2 people. The entire place was spotless and decorated in a Hollywood theme.....photos of celebrities on each floor, statue of the Blues Brothers in the lobby....yet not over the top! The bathroom sink area is open to the room. The shower and toilet are in smaller area....almost like a walk in closet with a sliding door that separates it from the rest of the room. The shower is an oversized stall shower with glass door. There was a small soap ledge but no real "shelf" to put shampoo, razor, etc. But not a big deal! The bed was very comfortable with fluffy comforter and labeled pillows ("soft" and "firm"). All staff I encountered were very friendly and eager to accomodate guests. Wake up call was prompt! Only complaint is the elevators are located right next to the pool.....guests coming in from the pool area were dripping water over the tile floor and the tile in the elevators making it a little slippery. Location is great....very close to Universal. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in the vicinity. I would definitely stay here again.

Modern. Surrounding amenities were limited. Hotel was clean, modern, well-appointed. Staff was helpful in making recommendations for activities and booking taxis. Discounted Universal ticket sales in the lobby.

"This was one of the cleanest and nicest Holiday Inn Expresses I have ever been in. The only downside was the rooms were small, however there were only two of us traveling, so it didn't matter. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! Would stay there again in a heartbeat!"

I loved the location of pools and the mattress and the rooms with balconies with pool view were too romantic.

This hotel is a great price. It has a lot of luxuries! Carpet and walls have minor repair and cleaning needs but I enjoyed my stay and will gladly recommend this hotel to anyone. I have earned 4 free nights with choice hotel since August This was the best Choice hotel! 3-4 Star potential! Good breakfast selection!

" Breakfast outstanding. Boiled eggs, hot waffles, drinks, cereals, bagels, pastries. free! Free shuttle leaves in morning/ picks up in evening. We walked home. Not a long walk from Universal. 1/4 mile. Bus runs to International drive. No souvinour shops by hotel but a Wendys, Burger King, Golden Coral 1 block away. The pool is not deep. Rooms were clean. Did see ants, but no big deal. Iron, hair dryer and coffee maker in room. Hotel does not have restaurant or gift shop. They have arcades and a gym. No weights. They have 2 computers in the lobby. Free internet. Bargain."

Minutes from Universal and The Holy Land Experience. Have never stayed in a hotel/motel that did not have closeable drapes such as this one. Overall, the only thing I took issue with was there were no close able draperies in the window. They were there only for show. Since we were on the 10th floor privacy was not an issue and the sheer panels in the window were fine, but in the morning you were not able to block out the light. It was baffling that a hotel is in existence with no usable drapes.
