The Holiday Inn Express was very clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. On our frist night we had a problem with the room smelling like setting water and our Jacuzzi didn't work.They came right up and fix it .The bed was very comfortable! The bath was nice and big they have a shower witch I think they should have a seat in for us older people other than that our stay was very nice they have three restaurants in the same parking lot and a Mall just down the road.

We arrived late to a helpful and prompt staff who didn't keep us waitng at check in, room was beautiful, spacious and clean and comfortable. Breakfast fare was a nice variety and breakfast hostess was friendly and accomodating. Would stay here again if the situation arose to be in Watertown again.

The King room my husband and I stayed in was very comfortable and clean. It had a spa like atmosphere. The bed was extremely comfortable! The room had a digital thermostat that was easy to operate, something that always seems to be an issue at other hotels I've stayed at. The location is near many restaurants and it's right off the express way so you can't miss it. Going to Alexandria Bay only takes apprx 20 minutes. Sacketts Harbor was about 15 mins. My husband and I went White Water rafting with the Hudson River Rafting Company. The launch is about 5 mins away on Black River, (Very Fun!!) I highly recommend staying at this hotel, the staff is great, the hotel is fantastic and the rooms are beautiful. OH! And the shower is AWESOME!

Honestly, I have been on business here for seven weeks now. I have stayed here and at the Ramada, Best Western Carriage House, even The Inn. I would have to say that out of all of them this hotel is by far the best. The room quality is so much better than the other hotels. The thing that I like the best is that everything at the Holiday Inn Express is new and most of the time clean. The rooms also have nice tables, computer chairs and regular armchairs as well. The Carriage House is older, has older bed covers, and is overall an older facility. The Ramada as well seems to be getting older and more used as well. I know it is expensive at the Holiday Inn Express, but it is just a new facility and so much more brighter and well kept up then any hotel here it seems like. Even the free continental breakfast shows the difference. The Holiday Inn Express gives many options including omlettes, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, cereal, and more, whereas other places only have pastries and bread available and that's all. I guess what I am getting at is that even though the Holiday Inn Express can be pricey at times, it is such a nice facility, has great service, and really beats out any other hotel in this area by far.

"At $* a night, there's nothing overly close by to even do to make this price even worth while. Guess beinga new hotel they still have to pay for it. There's places just as nice for half of what this place costs."

Great hotel. We will stay here as long as they honor gov rates. NoN gov rates are a bit steep for this area. Customer Service is great. Friendly staff.
