This hotel was much better than other Holiday Inns we have stayed at. Good service, the staff even asked if the room was satisfactory after we had checked in. The pool is quite nice. The hotel is just a walk from the beach, though you're better off driving just a bit up the road to the less populated areas, and this hotel is definitely well situated for that. The free breakfast was surprisingly more than just the boring continental fare, they had cereal, yogurt, fruit, eggs etc., whatever you might want. Overall a great experience. We'd definitely stay there again when we go back!

I really liked the friendly and courteous staff. I also enjoyed their comfortable beds and the delicious breakfast! The fact that their appeared to be unfinished remodeling to the hotel. Great location, excellent staff, and super quiet. I would definitely spend another night there when I decide to go back to SPI. I was especially impressed with the breakfast served, due to the variety and freshness. Although, I do wish that they would extend their hours for breakfast!

Weekend get away with two kids (15/11 yrs old) Nice room. Nice View. Everything was satisfactory. Good Hot Breakfast! The hallway outside the room smelled like bug spray but I think it was because of the construction....they are re-doing the floor so that was not complete....luckly the room did not have that smell......otherwise great place to stay & will stay again!!!

Did not receive the requested wake up call that I left with front desk. My room was located on the third floor, someone in the room above mine continously walked the length room at all hours of the night. The footsteps were loud enough to wake me repeatedly during the night. Very frustrating to hear all sounds from room above.

Our room was huge with comfy beds and plenty of room for the 4 other people I was with, and the hotel was just two blocks from a secluded beach, which was wonderful. Breakfast was fine and the wait staff was very accommodating. The floor on the first floor, however, was not carpeted however and kind of trashy. We were also locked out about 5 times because our keys stopped working and had to go to the front desk to have them reprogrammed, which was a big inconvenience.

Hotel was good no carpet in the main hallways from hurricane damage. Front desk friendly and nice breakfast. Pool was not heated and very cold. Hot tub not warm enough. Alittle walk to the beach.

It was very nice. Not to upscale and now trashy. The pool closed. Our stay was very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean.

The hotel was clean and close to the beach and other activities that can be done on the island.

The pool was not open and when it was was dirty with roofing junk we did not use which was dissapointing. They were laying new carpeting and the smell from the carpet glue was bad. If we were allergic to that which a lot of people are we would of had to find another place to stay. The staff was friendly.

I liked the clean room, the breakfast, the fish aqarium in the lobby and the friendly staff. The only thing thatI did not like was the fact that the hurricane damaged the carpet in the hall and it had not been replaced. I really enjoyed my stay at the Holiday Inn I will recommend it to my friends and family.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel, although it is not a beach front property, for a hotel near the beach (especially on SPI) it was extremely clean, I almost forgot that I was spending the night on the beach and thought I was on a business trip. Not inmediate access to the beach and there aren't any actual signs to point your way to it, If I haven't asked the front desk beforehand I think I would have gotten lost, but once you find your way it's just a short walk through the neighboring Tiki hotel's parking lot. Very good complimentary breakfast (again, for a hotel on SPI and excellent coffee), with an enormous and very clean dining area. Pool was OK, appreciated the hot tub, since the evening was a bit cold and windy. Definitely one of my best hotel experiences on SPI. If not I would have not taken the trouble to write this review

Our room was clean with very nice linens. We had to wait until afternoon to check in, but we just went to the beach. The lobby and continental breakfast were nice. The internet is free in the rooms. Staff was all friendly and helpful, all spoke good English.

This hotel is located on the tip if the island thus it is nice and quiet. It is about a one minute walk to the beach which was fabulous. The staff were friendly and polite and the rooms were spacious and looked and smelled clean! I felt like I was in a higher end hotel without the cost. (most hotels seem to have a musty odor)...The pool was small, but the waterfall was a nice touch-it drowned out the noisy kids. The hot tub was good, but could've been cleaned. The pool area was a nice place to relax. This area of the beach is not very busy....The Maid Service was efficient and breakfast was beyond what I had expected....I searched on-line and got an excellent rate--so shop around! I paid $* plus tax on the least expensive night....the only negative thing I can say is that the one elevator is VERY slow...

The Holiday Inn Express was great. Clean rooms, great breakfast buffet every morning, nice pool and short walk to the beach.

Clean big pool. Not clean enough and safety was not a priority. First of all I was told my room had a sofa in it and it was a chair. Second I pulled my sheets back and a roach crawled out from under them. Third there was no internet service. And last and worst of all there was a man knocking on the door telling my daughter to open the door which terrified her and called a friend from down the hall and she yelled at him at which point he ran away down the stairs. I reported this to the front desk at which point they informed me that this had occurred to another person down the hall in our floor. They said they would have some one come up often to check and make sure there were no strangers roaming the hall. We were there for a cheerleading competition and there were many young girls in our hotel this weekend. Since I knew many of them they did not bother to inform the other guests at the hotel about this incident to assure that they kept their children safe. I will not be staying at this hotel again and do not recommend it to others.
