Profesional courtious staff, every thing was good and as expected other that the mattress was too soft, and the pillows were too full. Very typical Holiday Inn Express, older than most, needs update. We had a Yorkie traveling with us, internet site states dogs are allowed, at 5 AM the additional 10$ charge for the dog was placed under out door waking the dog. Not so nice.

My daughter and I stayed at this property in January 2009. I have had good experiences at HI Express properties in the past, but this one is old and needs refurbishment. The facility is not particularly clean and the pool was less than impressive (more of a therapeutic pool from a hospital). I have stayed at other chains in the Salina area that were far superior for the same price. You do get the added bonus of staying next to a truck stop with diesels running all night and you're within a stone's throw of the interstate.

Every time we stay at a Holiday Inn Express, we are pleased, and this was no exception. I went looking for tea about 10:30 PM, but the hot water dispenser was empty. The front desk clerk kindly unlocked the kitchen and got a pot of hot water for me. Great service! The breakfast was good, with hot scrambled eggs and bacon. Would have been nice to have a waffle maker, but there were plenty of other choices. We didn't have a dog, but we saw (and petted) several of them, so the hotel seemed to be truly "pet-friendly." If we're ever in Salina again, this would be the first place I'd look for. However, I would book the room directly, since online travel charged me nearly 20% more than the actual cost of the room.

At the end of a very long day of driving, I was greeted cheerfully. The check-in process was efficient and I was in my room after only a few minutes. This particular chain of hotels has the best shower heads and the reason that I wanted to stay there. There was a very good trucker restaraunt (Grandma Max's) close by that had very good food and a very generous price.

Very helpful employees. Arrived early, room not ready they made it ready in under an hour. Indoor pool had way too much chlorine. Need a ventilation system to help with this problem. Myself and my family really enjoyed our stay here. After a 7 hour drive to make it to this location we arrived earlier than normal check in time. The staff was kind enough to get our room prepared in under an hour. The breakfast bar provided a much better variety than any other "Continental" Breakfast bar I have every seen. The only small down side was the indoor pool has way too much chlorine. They should consider a ventilation system of some sort to help with this problem. The staff was very helpful, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. We will use this location again.

Provide a wonderful breakfast and wonderful employees. The smell of chlorine throughout the motel. We had a very enjoyable stay! I had booked the room for three nights and ended up only needing it for two. The front desk was very helpful and provided us with anything that we needed, as well as the women working in room service. I would definitely stay at this motel again!

Very clean, had a nice smell in room. Can't think of any. This was a perfect location with children, everyone was so friendly. Will stay again, it is honestly the cleanest hotel I have stayed in. The kids loved the indoor pool.

Nice clean room, big thick towels, continental breakfast, good overnight experience. Eight family members traveling together. Stay would have been better if our two rooms were side by side. The room was clean and easily accessible. I booked two rooms for our family group of 8. The rooms were not next to each other. One room was across the hall and down about two rooms. Our stay would have been a little better if the rooms were right next to each other or at least across the hall from each other. This little glitch would not prevent me from staying at this motel again. Overall good experience.

It was clean! Bed and sheets were comfortable. I forgot my razor. The one they provided me cut my legs to shreds! It's not the nicest place in the world, but cleans! For being right off of i-70 and in Salina, ski it was actually nicer than I expected.

Staff was very helpful in giving directions. Pool room temperature was 95 degrees - miserable for observers. Location was good. Pool room was entirely too warm for those of us there to observe children swimming. Pool was quite small, and very crowded. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice rooms comfortable beds holiday inn is usually a safe bet anywhere and the breakfast was great. I don't have anything bad to say about it. I loved it, it was a great deal for the buck and everything about it was just fine.
