We were extremely pleased with the hotel. Our flight was very delayed and the hotel offered to pay our taxi fare from the airport at 3.30am instead of sending out their shuttle. When we arrived at the hotel they came straight out and paid the taxi. This was service far beyond what we expected. The breakfast was also really good. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Front desk very pleasant and helpful. When we got to our room the shower was not working and they sent someone quickly to repair. It could not be repaired and we were moved to another room. No compensation for the inconvience though. We were given what was supose to be an ocean view room but there was a large palm tree in front of our window and we could not see the ocean. All in all it was a good say and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I do wish they had more lounge chairs around the pool. But with only 10 they were used up quick ly. I would stay there again.

Very clean rooms. Read past comments from other travelers and found most of the negatives not to be true. Location of this hotel is great. Can reach just about anywhere in minutes; Clearwater Beach, Channelside, Tarpon Springs. Even went to Orlando Universal Studios and it was only a 90 minute ride.

The location was great near Tampa airport The hotel was nicely decorated and staff nice but the room I had reeked of cigarettes (was suppose to be a non smoking room) and when I woke up there was a man passed out on the floor of the hallway sleeping with no shirt on When I was checking out I told the desk clerk who sd he heard but he hadnt seen him (maybe he should have checked !! )

Great staff, great location just off of the airport. Have the new bedding that is not the bedspread and comforter, but rather the covers that are laundered everyday. Was noisy, as is not usual for this level of hotel. Would stay there again.

Booking this hotel and a rental car at the same time saved us some (relatively) major money. Instead of $105 per day for the car, it came out to about $20 per day. Thanks, Orbitz!

The hotel was located close to the Tampa airport. The parking spaces were a little snug for the large car that we were driving, but this was only a minor hassle. The hotel was very conveniently located to the Tampa airport. We arrived late and the staff provided prompt service to help get our children up to the room. The room was very spacious and had a kitchenette, which was unexpected. The location of the hotel on an island in Tampa Bay provided a great view in the morning. The breakfast included hot items, such as eggs, biscuits and gravy and cinnamon rolls in addition to the normal cold fare, such as cereal and muffins.

We stayed for 2 nights and everything went normal. They provide good breakfast at the hotel. Cinnamon rolls were ultimate. I had specified Limited Service and had asked them not to change any towels. Nevertheless, they had changed towels and arranged bed, and we felt happy with their service. This hotel is mid way between Clearwater beach and Busch gardens(about 1/2 hour drive each side). So ideal place to stay. **********************************

The hotel workers were friendly and helpful. It was difficult to get clean towels. Nice hotel. It was a little difficult to get to the first time and not close to any shopping malls/markets. The hotel employees were very nice and helpful.

From the moment that my husband and I were picked up at the Tampa airport by the hotel's shuttle we had fantastic service. I had to pick up some toothpaste and hair gel and she took us to a small minimarket to pick some up and told us about the Tampa area. We were in Tampa for a wedding at the Rusty Pelican and she told us that the shuttle would take us there and pick us up and that she didn't want us walking there because it was to dangerous to cross the busy highway. We were so appreciative of that considering it was soooo hot and muggy! She is so outgoing and friendly, that my husband and I enjoyed just having good conversation with her. She recommended the Bahama Breeze next door to the hotel for drinks and dinner. We took her up on that recommend and had a great time. Our room was very nice and definitely very clean. I love a king size bed and hugh vanity in the bathroom, so to see that it was great. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tampa. Though our stay was only 1 night, everything was great!!!

It was very clean and had a very helpful staff. Nothing. While the location is a bit out of the way from where we were going, it was still extremely easy to get around from there. There are 4 restaurants extremely close, but 3 of which are seafood. The rooms are extremely clean.

The Holiday Inn Express was superb. It is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was so comfortable and the front office staff in the evenings were wonderful. They were all so very helpful and courteous.
