The staff was friendly. The rooms are a lot smaller than the photos. The layout is very different also. There were no movie channels and the suites were very small. Also, this hotel is not walking distance from the river walk. overall, it was OKAY...

Paid $* for one night and was surprised when i saw the hotel. They make it seem like it is on the riverwalk and its not! The pictures are not even to this rivercenter hotel. This is a 4 story hotel with a small pool. They do have shuttle and was told they shuttle and pick you up every 30 mins. Well i waited 20 min to get dropped off at the riverwalk and waited 45 min to get picked up and taken back to hotel. The location of the hotel is the HOOD! There are homes nearby with broken windows, beat up cars -just a bad part of town! The room was nice but way overpriced for its location. Would not stay here again............... i would have paid the additional $* to be on the riverwalk if i knew where this hotel was located and the inconvenience of waiting for the shuttle!

The hotel was great. The rooms were clean. It's walking distance to the Riverwalk and Alamo, but if you don't want to walk, they have a courtesy shuttle that will drop you off and pick you up right smack in front of it all. I have no complaints. The best part is that it's a non smoking hotel, so there's no foul smoky smell in the air, just pure clean breathing. I will definitely stay here again. Keep up the great service :)

This hotel was nice place to stay, but we had to walk back from the Riverwalk on the first night because we didn't know that you had to call the hotel to notify the driver to pick you up. That was 10 blocks & wife didn't like that- We will know next time to have the hotel number on hand for a ride.

It was clean and good location. They provided a great shuttle service. It was clean, and in a great location for downtown San Antonio and it offered an awesome shuttle service. They dropped you off and picked you up all you had to do was call.

Staff (desk, housekeeping, shuttle drivers & management)-attentive to the guest's needs. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, clean and spacious rooms, business center and convenient location. About a 15 minute walk to the Riverwalk area and Alamo, but why walk when the courteous shuttle crew would take and pick you up from your destination. Great value and will stay again on my next visit to San Antonio.

we really enjoyed our stay this summer. new hotel, comfortable beds, spaciuos suites, all non-smoking rooms. staff was very helpful and courtious. free shuttle service to downtown was nice. outdoor pool and jacuzzi. not as close to the downtown riverwalk as we thought, but it was nice to come back and relax in peace and quiet. located closer to alamodome/train depot area. would recommend for families. would stay again.

we were ther for my husbands convention,with added on days to sightsee. when you arrive at the hotel you feel welcome the moment you walk through the door. our rooms were ready the rooms were clean and yhr queen size beds are great. the continental breakfast in the morning was a great reason to get up -- especially for the bisquits. free internet and free shuttle to downtown every 30 mins. could not make a better choice for the money.

The hotel from the outside made you wonder. However once inside you can see they recenctly renotavated. The hotel offered free shuttle to downtown and Riverwalk so you were safe and didn't have to worry about parking fees. We will stay there again next we go.

Employees were wonderful from the front desk through the shuttle driver. Rooms were a little noisy (train) but oversall good experience.

The staff was wonderful and very friendly. Our breakfast was very nice too. I felt that Cheaptickets booked me for too expensive of a room. I got online to Holidayinnexpress website, and there were many cheaper rooms still available, even up to a week before we left. I think we were given a suite maybe, and we just needed a room with 2 queen beds in it.

This Holiday Inn was very nice to stay at and very relaxing. The bed was perfect, king size, soft but not so soft I felt like I was sinking. The bedclothes were immaculate white and obviously well cared-for. The room was spacious - the desk actually had a decent office chair so we could be comfortable when we were using our laptop. There was a free shuttle service to Riverwalk, which was very nice since, even though the hotel was close enough to walk there. Staff was very friendly and helpful to no end.

The breakfast buffet was very good. The hotel's shuttle to downtown was awesome--very helpful. We were there during Fiesta and NBA playoffs time which made the area very busy, but the shuttle driver managed to accomodate us.

Friendly staff, great breakfast, love the shuttle van service. The pool was a little small, but was able to still enjoy it. This hotel was very clean, friendly staff, free shuttle van service, free parking, great breakfast, a great place to stay while on vacation.

Everyone who works at this hotel was so very pleasant and accomodating! We had such a wonderful time in SanAntonio. the shuttle driver was amazingly attentive to all his guests. X at the front desk was so sweet. The hotel manager was helpful. We would stay here again and recommend it to others!

We loved San Antonio- especially the friendly/helpful staff at this hotel! Thomas the night shuttle driver was amazing... the room was so comfortable and clean. We would stay again and highly recommend it to anyone.
