Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were helping our son who is in the Air Force move from Okla. City to the air base in Clovis. He will actually be living in Portales.

We enjoyed our visit tremendously, my son loved the pool area. The only complaint I have is when stepping off the elevator on the 3rd floor it always smelled like cigarette smoke even tho it was no smoking. The rooms did not, it was just in the hallway and very strong. The service was great and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

New hotel in good condition. Hallways needed to be vacuumed. Portales is a small depressed town with a university--the hotel will work for short visits for business & college tour.

Nice bed. Good shower water pressure. Elevator was out of order. Whole floor smelled like smoke! Rude girl at front desk. I would label this a 1-star hotel. It was clean, but nothing special. The girl at the front desk gave the people ahead of me a room where someone else was already placed! I had to wait about 15 minutes before I could even check in. I had to hike up 3 flights of stairs because the elevator was out of order. 3rd floor was completely smoky smelling. Complimentary breakfast was nice and convenient.

The location. N/A This hotel was very comfortable and roomy. It was the next best thing to being at home. The continental breakfast was wonderful.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pleasant staff. Need more than one bed in handicap rooms. Hotel location was in quiet part of town, no busy highway to keep you from getting rest at night. Indoor pool made it safer for children and fun for adults. Staff was very accommodating, friendly, and willing to assist us in any way.
