Me and a friend stayed here for a few days in May 2009. The hotel is in an area with restaurants and shopping. The towns population is 33,000 which is somewhat small but the town is spread out with lots of new homes being built. The hotel was actually very nice as were the staff. The hotel was quiet except for one night when some young kids kept letting the doors slam. They were loud and running up and down the halls. I finally called the front desk and the commotion stopped almost immediately. The breakfast was very good with lots to choose from. The beds and pillows were awesome! Very comfortable. We did have internet hookup but it was pretty slow. I've stayed in this hotel before and find it to be good. There are only a couple of hotels to stay in and I think this one is the best in town that I've stayed in. I would stay there again in the future.

I've stayed at this hotel for two consecutive years. In 2007, I contacted the hotel ahead of time to request a room with internet access, and was assigned a room which the hotel's own chart showed access 0% of the time! I was moved to an adjacent room which supposedly had 80% access. I must have fallen into the 20%, since access was spotty, at best.In each of the 2 years that I stayed there, the desk chair was stuck in the lowest position. I asked that it be repaired, and it wasn't. Last year, I was told that the chair was as high as it would go.My 2007 reservation was for 3 nights, but I checked out after 2. I contacted the general manager, but never received a response. After completing a Priority Club on-line survey, I received an apology from Priority Club and some bonus points. When I travel, I need to work, and the lack of basic business tools makes it hard.

I suspect that this is the best hotel in Pekin. The personnel were pleasant and the stay was fine. Nothing was exceptional.

Cleanliness, amenities and location. Housekeeping was behind and room didn't get cleaned. Was pleased with room overall and the staff was very friendly. Location was perfect for us and we would stay again at this location.

The staff at this location was great. Very friendly as so was the other people who were staying there. I would love to revisit this hotel location again.

Quiet and clean atmosphere. The fruit that was placed in the lobby was not washed. The hotel was pleasant for a short stay. I would not get into the hot tub because it appeared cloudy.

Very clean & customer friendly. No complaints. Location is easy to find. Staff is friendly. Rooms were very clean. Overall was a very good experience. We would definitely stay again at this location.

The mini kitchen including fridge, microwave, bottled water in the fridge, and popcorn to pop in microwave. The staff was a bunch of idiots. I woke up at 2:44 in the morning to a blinking orange light. The message light was blinking on the phone. I called down to the front desk and the girl told me I had no messages but she didn't know how to turn it off and I'd have to tell the attendant in the morning. When I tried to tell the morning attendant, it was the same girl I spoke to in the night. She laughed, I had to leave for a meeting. When I returned that evening, I told the evening attendant. He tried to turn off the light and when I got up to the room, my key did not work. I went back downstairs and he reprogrammed the key. When I finally got into the room, the message light was still blinking. I called to the front desk again and he said he'd try something else, that didn't work either. The next morning, I once again told the attendant, she told me she would fix it, I then left for another meeting. When I returned, I informed the attendant again. She said she was new and she'd call her manager. The manager gave a "code" to me and that finally fixed the light on the phone. But when I got to the room, the key didn't work again. The new attendant reprogrammed the key again. The next morning, check out day, the manager that the new attendant had called was there. I told her about what had happened during my stay and that I was not very happy. She became defensive and told me she know nothing of the situation until the night before. She took $30 off the bill. I did not sleep for two nights. I needed to be rested because I was training for a new position and now I don't remember how to do half the things that I was taught.

Great location/friendly staff. Our room was not accommodating for 4 people had only king size bed/asked for a rollaway. I had paid for two night in a standard room, got a room with a king size bed and no pull out couch, like the girl at the counter when we checked in told us we would have. I had to ask for a rollaway and one of the kids had to sleep in the king size bed with the two adults. The hotel was booked and no one tried to accommodate us any other way. Disappointing.

I loved the down comforter, the shower supplies, and all of the "smart" things about it. Unfortunately, I think we had a smoking room, although I was amazed, it wasn't that bad. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we travel back to Pekin. I was happy with the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the pool, the workout facility, the breakfast spread, and the friendly prompt attention we received from the staff. Thank you for a wonderful trip, and for all of the little things (easy shower to run, internet, convenient ice machine, etc.) that made our stay as a family a great one!
